Perfect for lefties
Got this thinking it would work well for my left handed ar15 build and it gives you enough space to hit your extended mag release without getting in the way. If you're a lefty highly recommend throwing this on your build

Does NOT Fit Aero M5 Lower
Seeing a previous review that is also correct. This does NOT fit 308 ARs. At least not my DPMS High Aero lower M5 receiver. Should be fine on mil-spec AR-15's but not on my Brownell's BRN-180 or Aero EPC either for what it's worth!

I reied this for an AR10 and various (3) AR15 lowers and it would not fit properly to function.
Complete waste of money.
For an AR15 lower its too fat to fit in the catch slot.
For the AR10 it is still anug and the overall width of the catch is poorly deisgned to catch the actual bolt. Also the geometry of the "handle part" is cumbersome.

Should be a list
There should be a list of compatible AR’s, this will not fit on a Aero Precision AR 10 platform. The screw starts to go then hangs up. No amount of giggling will seat it. I like the configuration, but it just won’t go in at least for me

The listing is extremely misleading, claiming universal fit for billet and polymer 308 lowers. It does not fit an aero 308 lower. May work for an ar15 as the first review, but be weary if purchasing for a 308

good and over built but miss leading
I bought this for an ar10 build. It does not work. At least for an aero ar10 lower. It was flush against the ar10 lower and didnt pivot at all. This is the only reason I didnt do 5 stars. I put it on one of my ar15 lowers and worked great. It is a little bulky, but functions great. It seams to hold the BCG to the rear a lot better then the magpul bad lever. I like the bad lever system, but it always bugged me that it was a little bit of a slacker. If you shook the rifle, the bolt would send home. This bolt catch holds the bolt unless you hit the rifle, which is predictable and there for fine by me.
