Fist off, make sure you read the description and look at the pictures as this is just a carrier and doesn't come with a bolt. That said, it is fantastic carrier and is well made. I already had a Cryptic bolt in Black Nitride so I decided to make a complete Cryptic BCG in Black Nitride. The finish is amazing and very smooth. I bought a Cryptic firing pin and cam pin as well. I had an extra retainer pin in my spare parts box to complete the BCG. I put it in one of my high end builds and took it to the range. I shot 200 rounds with it and it ran great. Drop in fit

I put this in an DPMS LR308 with a cryptic bolt. It fit flawlessly and cycled with no issues. I have not yet shoot it but it looks like it will be easy to clean

Cryptic bolt carrier

Needed a full auto carrier for an upper I wanted to use for a FRT. Found this to be priced in a great price level. Wow ! Was not expecting the carrier to be this nice. Great finish, no machining marks, and bolt fit perfectly. Shot it, and it cycled, and grouped, like the carrier I replaced. Looking for a reasonably priced carrier, get a cryptic.

Cryptic always has great finishes, the screw staking was perfect. 10/10 will buy cryptic again, only bad thing was that it wasnt all loosey goosey… guess i’ll have to actually shoot with this thing!

Bolt Carrier Only!

Even though the product description says "bolt carrier group", this is not that. All you get is, a premium, nitride bolt carrier. No bolt, no cam or firing pin. It IS very misleading. However, for the price, it really is a very decent bolt carrier.
