Most Helpful Positive Review Steel rifle gong
I needed a target large enough for longer range shooting and thick enough for .308. This one is perfect and a good price from Optics Planet. I like the two hole one over the single hole round one for sturdier hanging.

holds up to everything i throw at it

It’s exactly as described, it holds up great to heavy use and heavy calibers. 556 and 308 at close range were no problem as well as 12ga buckshot, 9mm and 300 blackout

well made solid piece of steel

This gong is well made and will serve you well, not light weight,
will withstand and provide plenty of service.
ready for a stick-on target zero or spray paint for LR hits.
you will need a good stand or hanger.

Solid steel target

Very impressive, heavy piece of metal. Fits my hanger perfectly even though only using one hole. Weight and thickness much greater than my 3/8 targets. Have not had a chance to try st the range yet, it will be a challenge to see at 600 yards. Looking forward to hearing its ”bong” with 338 Lapua and will report any damage.

Big target gomg

Had lots of fun shooting this ar500 steel at 1000 yards with my 338 lapua. No problems with it taking a 300 grain hit all it needed was a little more paint afterwards to make it look brand new. Enjoy the hits by a loud gong when hit and make sure you don't shoot this metal in a short distance than 100 yards to keep it looking new for years with just a little spray paint. Thanks and enjoy.
