Cyelee Chameleon-GSRS8
I have only had it installed on a Kimber 2k11 Independence for a couple weeks now. Have sighted it in and practiced with it out to 15 yards. So far I seem to be able to see a crisper, rounder dot than my other Red Dot Optics. I do have astigmatism and this sight is supposed to help with that so I hope I will get accustomed to shooting with both eyes open for a change. I have plans to shoot a match with it next Saturday the 12th. So far, so good:)
Pros:
- Large Round View like an SRO
Cons:
- Nothing notable
Best Used for:
- Action Pistol Competition Close Range
Would recommend: Yes
Nice Optic, especially for the price
High quality optic. Well made and professional packaging. Comes with multiple packs of screws for different firearms, which is a big hang up for me with other optics.
Would recommend: Yes
Nice for the money
Please note it will be a while before I can use this optic but it is mounted and I have some comments.
I received the optic on time and with intact packaging. I am not 100% sure but this may have been a returned item. There were some very small/cosmetic scratches on the base and more importantly the battery was dead! Decided to keep it anyway.
The dot is clear and bright (indoors). I have astigmatism and usually shoot without my glasses. I noticed some mild starbursting which I see regardless of green/red, size or shape of dot. Another negative is the windage and elevation adjustments have no tactile and very faint audible feedback.
Otherwise it's good for now for the cost.
Looks pretty cool!
