Most Helpful Positive Review Best low pro gas block
Great product from Daniel Defense. I prefer the clamp style gas blocks instead of the dimple and screw mount blocks. I don't want to drill in to my barrel or try to get the screws to 'bite' in. I used this on my 9" AR pistol. It easily fit in my slim handguard (1.3" inside opening). Highly recommended

Solid and easy to install.

What can I say? It's a gas block. It's a solid, well-made gas block. Installed without issue on the non-dimpled barrel of my rifle.
Pros:
  • Can be installed on a smooth, non-dimpled barrel.
Cons:
  • Mounting on a smooth barrel MAY lead to rotation with use.

DD Gas Block

Practically all of DD products I have purchased over the years have been tip-top quality with superb fit and finish. The clam shell gas block allows for secure attachment and proper gas management with DI builds.

Perfect for application

Simple quality product. Low profile, fits inside my fortis camber nicely. Serves its purpose and its a clamp style! Clamp style is the only type of gas block I operate, and if this was in stainless steel I’d buy a few to have.

Excellent product,functioned and fit perfect. Low profile. Good finish. I mean, it's a gas block and functions as intended. Did not have any issues. Comes with roll pin. I really don't know what else to say.

I need a clamp style gas block and decide on the Daniel defense gas block. It is very well made and has a beautiful finish. I will be buying future gas blocks from Daniel defense and want to get there lo pro gas block next.

Why Stimple?

I decided to build a MK18 upper from Daniel Defense parts and this was the gas block I chose. Works well through about 2k rounds so far. I was a little worried about the clamp being the only thing holding it on, but so far I have zero issues.

So far so good

Purchased this recently. It was the first clamp on gas port that I have used and I like it. So many barrels are not dimpled unlike BCM and WC and using set screws is difficult. This cures that issue and can be used with most set ups out there. So far so good.

Seems to work well. Very low profile. Happy with the clamp style. A shade on the expensive side. No issues so far, don’t forsee any. Great customer service. Why do reviews need to be 200 characters, it’s a gas block, not much more I can say about a gas block.

DD Low Profile Gas zBlock

Excellent gas block machined perfectly and made in the USA! Easy install and works as intended.I have used these on 3 of my AR builds-two 300 blackout with carbine length gas systems and one 5.56 with a mid length gas system..
