Excellent improvement in flash hiding over an A2 flash hider
I see this as a decent improvement over the standard A2 flash hiders that comes with most AR's. Its compensation abilities are roughly the same as an A2 but where it truly stands out is flash hiding. On a 16" barrel it noticeably produces less flash than an A2, in low light conditions all you really see is a small flicker within the cage. It isn't as effective as an open tine flash hider but is still a substantial improvement. The machining is excellent and the finish is very even and tough.
Daniel Defense Flash Suppressor
One of the best flash suppressors on the market.Typical DD quality and this flash hider doesn't disappoint. fit and finish is everything I've come to expect from DD. It's a thing of beauty. Must have upgrade.

Daniel defense Flash suppressor. Daniel Defense quality finish and machine work you should expect from Daniel defense parts. looks good and while it doesn't flash suppress as well as a surefire 3 prong it gets the job done

DD flash hiders
Great quality product, more refined than standard birdcage flex. Not much else to say, DD quality, nitride finish, more effective than standard flash hider, etc etc to get to 200 characters Dd Dd Dd . Go for it if you don’t want a brake.

DD FLASH HIDER
THIS MODERN AND IMPROVED BIRD CAGE DOES IT'S JOB GREAT SUPRESSING FIRE LIGHT FLASH AT THE END OF THE BARREL, QUALITY STEEL ALLOY ALSO BEING ABLE TO SUSTAIN LONG SESSIONS OF TARGET SHOOTING.

DD bird cage
This is a great flash hider from Daniel Defense , but the only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is the finish that is poorly executed and uneven . The add saysthat the FH has s a salt bath nitride(QPQ, Melonite) which is a smooth finish but mine came as a phosphate finish. Will return this back for a replacement.
