Most Helpful Positive Review Rigid, Lightweight, Accurate
I recently swapped out my Magpul polymer MBUIS Gen.2 flip-up sights for these solid Daniel Defense fixed sights. It is a little more money for these but to me it is a price worth paying. I have the DD front and rear sight matched set. No they're not as slick/fancy-tactical looking as the folded down Magpul sights with the one-finger action feature but hey, looks aren't everything and I trust these more in the event of a dropped rifle. I installed them on my 100% trust-worthy SHTF rifle (put the Magpul sights I removed onto my range toy 9mm PCC instead). The DD sights are of course standard hei...

Daniel Defense front sight

This is the second DD front sight I have installed in my firearms. When you are looking for a fixed front sight that isn’t on a firearm with a front sight gas block you can’t beat this sight. Easy to sight in and very solid positioning on rail. Typical DD high quality item.

DD Fixed Front Sight Post

Stout and robust. Solidly affixes to any picatinny rail for a bomb-proof zero that will hold up after everything else fails. No glass, no batteries, no fragile electronics. Just a solid piece of aircraft-grade aluminum and a steel post.

Solid As Expected

This is probably the best fixed front site out there. Some of the machining is suspect on Daniel Defense items, but not this one. It is very well made and once attached is rock solid. Looks cool too which always helps. Great value for what you are getting. OpticsPlanet has a reasonable price and fast shipping. Would recommend!

Quality Front Sight

This Daniel defense fixed front sight is the best fixed option. DD is the perfect size, not too bulky and not too slim. Some front sights will be too bulky with a side mounted light, no issues with this sight. It is well made and easy to install and adjust as needed. would buy again.

Simple and Sturdy

I use this sight on every AR I own for two reasons. First, I don't need to carry or find a star bit or an Allen key to remove or adjust it, just a simple flat screwdriver. Second, It's set and forget. Once it is sighted in I don't have to worry about accidentally bumping a wheel or turning a knob. Once it's set, it's set.
