High quality product. Ingenious design for reversibility for left and right hand shooters. Unfortunately it uses snaps instead of velcro. Its designed for 20 round mags, standard capacity mags cant be retained securely. Also, once it softens up and stretches it cant be pulled tighter.

The DeSantis Storm Packer is a perfect fit on my Beretta CX4 Storm. It easily holds two 15 round Beretta mags or adjusts to hold two 20 round Beretta mags. This is a must have item if you own a CX4. You will always have two extra magazines with you and and it looks great on the carbine as well. I got it at a great price from Optics Planet and shipping was fast and the item was well packaged. I am 100% satisfied with the product from DeSantis and the service provided by Optics Planet.
Pros:
- Perfect Fit
- Looks great
- Works perfectly
- Top quality product

Installed on my Beretta CX4 Storm 40 Cal this magazine pouch is ambidextrous made well fits perfectly on the stock with a functional and adjustable snap to secure 10 or 20 round mags. Looks great and does not interfere with cheek weld

This is a great way to keep of couple of extra mags with your CX4. Right there for you to grab & go. No need to keep spare mags in a dirty pants or coat pocket. It fits on easily and has a cut out to fit over/around the rear sling post to let it still be used. As I have seen in other reviews, it would be nice if the mag flaps were velcro instead of snaps. And the mag pouches fit the 10 rd, 17 rd, and 20 rd clips.

Along with a Beretta OEM twenty round magazine that I routinely keep in the mag well, this DeSantis "Storm Packer" double mag pouch gives me a total of fifty rounds on hand every time I pick up my Beretta CX4 carbine.

This is a great item designed specifically for the cx4 so you don't have to fumble around for a new magazine when you're ready to change them. It can be put on either the left side or the right side of the stock. Even though the picture shows it on the right side, I actually found it easier to have the clips on left side of the stock. That way I could keep my right hand on the grip and press the mag release with my right thumb. With my left hand I catch the empty mag, grab a new one off the stock pouch, and then load it. All of that can be done without losing target acquisition. I wasn't sure if the mags would get in the way of my chin on the left side of the stock but it doesn't seem to affect me. Another bonus is that the gun will still fit in the beretta gun case with the pouch on the stock, with the magazines removed of course.
Pros:
- Fits Great
- Still fits in case with it attached
- Made specifically for cx4
- Ambidextrous, fits right or left side of stock

Not advertised but it is adjustable for different-length magazines & comes with a tool to do it (basically a wooden tongue depressor just like your doctor uses). It will adjust to fit mags from the factory 15 round to the Mec-Gar (or Beretta) 20 round. Unfortunately, it will NOT adjust long enough to accomodate the Beretta 30 round magazines, but I don't believe you could operate the rifle if you had those in the Storm Packer anyway. I wish DeSantis would offer the OD Green and Camo versions of this pouch anywhere except on Beretta's website (they're close to $50 on there shipped) but the black is fine. The only drawback to this pouch is it blocks off use of the CX-4's side sling attachment points. The bottom swivel-type sling attachment is still accessible. One plus: I'm glad to see the mag pouch flap has a button-type closure instead of noisy Velcro. The quality is outstanding. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product and would definately purchase it again.
Pros:
- Price
- Very well made
- Adjustable
- button closure instead of Velcro
- reputable manufacturer
- custom fit for CX-4 Storm
- lines up on sling swivels & stays put
Cons:
- blocks side sling points
- only one color choice

Although the magazine pockets are more snug then I would like, it is an overall good product.
Pros: Ease of use, price, construction
Cons: pockets are a little tight for PX4 high capacity mags
