Most Helpful Positive Review Great looking holster

This holster looks really sharp when carrying a Ruger SR1911 in stainless. I consider it my "dress up" holster. I like the way the thumb break strap covers the firing pin when carrying cocked and locked (Condition 1). Having the firing pin covered by the thumb break strap may give the "other person" not familiar with carrying Condition 1 a better feeling about carrying cocked and locked, because it looks less menacing and dangerous. Not tight puzzling

I expect a leather holster to be tighter. Maybe the manufacturer extected a rail on the gun. I don't have one and GI 1911s don't. So it gets a pretty good not great.

Leather holster for C2

This is exactly what I wanted. A leather holster for my C2, which has a thumb break and can accommodate an optic. Even the SRO which is generous in size fits! I carry this on a daily basis and I am pleased with the outcome.

1CLBA84Z0 - Colt Commander

Fits my Colt Commander with very little break in. Allows it to ride in what I think is a sweet spot, around 2:00, just under my ribs. It snaps securely and is comfortable for all day wear.

The three slots allow you to canted the holster, or draw straight up, which is what I do. There is really nothing else to say.

Good Solid Holster

This holster is typical of the excellent quality I have come to expect from DeSantis products. It is well made and fits the Colt Commander (and Kimber Pro CDP) perfectly and securely right out of the box. Even the thumb break strap fit right. I then put a pistol in a dress sock and left in the holster for 24 hours and it made it draw perfectly as if the holster had been broken in for months. (I've never had a holster that easy to get into a "duty ready" condition.) My only regret is that this model wasn't available in tan or brown.

Great Holster

Fits my Springfield Armory TRP 45ACP (no rail) Perfectly! Took a while to arrive, but the holster is well made and wears like it isn't there. DeSantis is a GREAT company that makes a high quality product! What more can I say?

Great fitting holster

I bought the model MPN: 1CLBA84Z0 UPC: 792695309741 for my Kimber stainless pro raptor II 4in. barrel. All of my other conceal carry holsters are of kydex, IWB which I carry in the 5 oclock position. This being an all steel gun and heavier, I went with OWB. Carrying it about 3:30 on the hip you don't feel the weight pulling on your pants and belt. I was a little worried how it would fit the gun, but the molded leather fits it like a glove, couldn't ask for a better fit.

Classic carry in condition 1. Not many options for the 1911 to carry the correct way.
Matched with a good belt, the DeSantis holster does the job comfortably. Easy to draw, unsnapping the thumb break.

Great holster for cocked and locked

This holster fits my Kimber Aegis ll custom perfect. Other thumb break holsters tend to "knock off the thumb safety. This holster has a small cut out that leaves room for the safety to be unhindered.

Left Handers

After looking for a long time I came across your site. I am left handed and we do not find many products out there. To find just what I needed and the style I wished was great. It fit the gun and after it was broken in it is my carry holster. I will check with you first if I need anything more.
