great holster
this is a great high quality holster, I bought the lined model
and the gun glides in and out much easier with the lining.
fits the gun perfectly. and seems very durable. I would highly recommend
this if you are going to carry.
Desantis 1911
Seems to be really high quality. Very good looking and comfortable so far. Fits snug enough I'm not worried the pistol will fall out. I wish color was a little darker brown instead of reddish. I would buy again.

Excellent holster
Fit my pistol well. Rides on my belt comfortably. Covers the trigger and barrel to give the gun good protection. I would recommend for any full size pistol for woods carry or open carry. Would purchase again.

Excellent quality holster..I am left handed and find it difficult to find left handed natural leather holsters.
The thumb snap is very sturdy and crisp, stitching is excellent. Price was fair. I would not normally buy a gun product from a non gun shop but they seem to have the stock I was looking for. They wanted me to write more I said what I wanted to say..

DeSantis Quality
Another good DeSantis holster. I chose this model to carry my 1911 in the field and so I wanted something with positive retention. The three slots also allow both strong-side and off-side carry and I normally carry this off-side. The gun rides high and tight on either side.

Exactly what I was looking for
This holster was just a bit tight at first. Once I just left my weapon in it for a few nights it loosened up perfectly. This is exactly what I hoped it would be. Well made, quality product. The snap at the top is a well made secure closure. There is a tension screw at the bottom for a fit adjustment. I would recommend the product to anyone looking for a quality 1911 holster.

Great quality and value
I have used several DeSantis produts over the years. Both on, and off duty. The quality remains high in both their nylon and leather products. I wanted an off duty holster in something besides black, but didn't want to give up the qualilty. Like most leather holters, this one required a short break in period. But once it was broken in, it's very comfortable, and yet keeps the firearm secure and quickly accessed when needed. The lining, while costing a bit more, does help protect the finish of the gun, and for me, worth it the extra price.

This holster is perfect for my Officer’s Model 1911 .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol. I would not hesitate to recommend this holster to anyone. The weapon is easy to holster, and is easy to extract. When the weapon is holstered, there is no way to access the trigger guard (let alone the trigger), so safety is built right into the product.
