Di Santis Thumbreak
Overall good, well-made concealment holster.
Although not inexpensive, is a decent value in comparison with other competitive
holster options.
Pros: Serves purpose well and light-weight
Cons: Should offer suede lining
320 "Full Size" DOES fit Xten
This holster is typical Desantis Quality, but wanted to share that the model for the 320 full size does indeed fit the 320 Xten, as in I bought it and tried it in person. It wasn't even tight to the point it needs to break in. I was expecting to have to dampen the holster and stretch it a bit, but nope, slid right home out of the bag.

Doesn't fit Sig P320 M17 with thumb safety
Even after applying leather softener in an attempt to get the gun to go further down into the holster and, jamming a P320 m17 holster molding dummy into it repeatedly and leaving it there for days, the thumb-break snap cannot engage with the gun in it. The holster is otherwise well made and attractive so this is a disappointment.

DeSantis thumb break holster style 001
This is the correct size for a Sig P229 Enhanced Elite in a .357sig Caliber. With the rail on the pistol I was concerned that it would not fit properly. Well it does fit perfect so far. The thumb break snap will break clean with natural movement of pushing push straight down with thumb. The holster holds the weapon firm but comes free with very little effort needed. Holds the weapon high on beltline to enable a good concealed carry. I recommend this product for this pistol it works very well. I've not used the holster long enough yet to actually give it a five star rating
Pros:
- holds weapon high at beltline for conceal carry
- Thumb break will release weapon easily
Cons:
- price (get what ya pay for) so pro??

Thumb break doesn't snap
I have 3 of these holsters now. One for a Sig SP2022, Ruger SP101 and now for a Sig P224. The first 2 fit and work well. Nicely made and functional. High quality stitching. The new one I just received for the P224 doesn't work. The strap over the hammer is either too short or the snap was installed in the wrong location at the factory. It is about 3/8" from snapping. It says in the directions that came with the holster that it may need to stretch some for a good fit. This isn't even close. I would have to grind off the hammer spur to get it snapped. I even removed the tension screw and rubber grommet, but that made no difference. I'm waiting for a response back from DeSantis on how to proceed. Clearly, they don't test fit these holsters before they ship from the factory.
Pros:
- Low cost
- High quality
Cons:
- Cannot snap thumb break
Best Used for:
- Open carry
Would recommend: No
Good holster
Not a lot of selection for sig P320 subcompact yet, especially for an old school leather holster loving LEO. This one is a great fit and comfortable. Stays tight to the hip and has the three slots to adjust the angle. So far seems to be a great product, we’ll see how long is lasts but it appears to be very well.made.
Best Used for:
- Conceal Carry

DeSantis thumb break leather holster for SIG SP 2022, right hand
This is a replacement for another leather holster that failed when the leather cracked. This holster seems pretty decent. Sturdy and mostly designed well. It fits the handgun very well & is molded to the exact shape of the handgun. The tab for the thumb break is just a bit short. When snapped shut, it does not stick up much past the band over the hammer. The leather around the loop holes might be a bit skimpy. That is where the last holster failed when the leather cracked. Time will tell. Not sure that it needs and adjustment screw for tension as it has the thumb break. Were it open top, that would make more sense for retention. The finish is nice and edges all well burnished and sealed. So far, it is comfortable to wear and the forward cant is about perfect.
Pros:
- Sturdy
- comfortable to wear
- Fits the pistol very well
Cons:
- Short tab on thumb break
- Doesn't need tension screw
Best Used for:
- Open carry
- Some concealed uses
Would recommend: Yes

DeSantis Thumb Break Scabbard Holster
I love this holster. I am a leather guy. their is nothing like a good leather holster and this is it. I like the fact that it is lined too. Keeps weapon from getting wear marks on it. Close fit and very comfortable to have on all day. I love the small features that most holster manufactures leave out like the fact this holster protects your rear site with a bump out part of the leather design. Great quality and worth every penny. I will be getting more for different weapons I own.
