So my original review was three stars, I’m now giving it 5 stars. I emailed DDC and explained my issue. Within 2 hours i had an email back and a free subdued version. The HRC is now 100%reliable. Extremely Happy with product now and customer service too.

Best upgrade for an AR 15
Let's face it!The original AR charging handle is a stupid crappy design.Esp on short ARs.l have two.One more to go!Buy them while you can.Things look better for the second ammendment.But we ALL know how fast that can change!Pack a sandwich for lunch for a week and buy it!YOU WONT BE SORRY!Just be sure and order the right one to work with your optic!

happy customer
Watched a few videos on these, made sense. Liked so much bought some side charging uppers with handle on left side. These are built solid and work great. Definitely recommend. Work as should, dosent feel gimmacky at all.nice quality workmanship.

Side charging uppgrade for your AR style rifle
I purchased the Devil Dog Concepts Hard Charger to use on a PSA KS47. I had original purchased a different style Hard Charger that had the picatinny rail mount located at the top end. However, the fitting was slightly off due to that style of upper being proprietary. I purchased this style of the hard charger hoping it would fit better and i am happy to say that it works perfectly. I'm extremely happy with this side charging adapter, it alleviates the one thing i disliked about the ks47 platform which was the awkwardness of having to use the standard ar style charging handle as it has no side bolt release. Your mileage may vary, but if you have an AR platform that uses ak mags this would be a great addition.

Excellent cust svc!!
Had a break where the hook connect to upper receiver indent. Within 24 hours of emailing Devil Dog, had new parts shipped to my house! Love the product, love the service, love that its vet owned! The charging handle was always one con for me with the AR platform so this was great. Not heavy, slides smooth, and shooting prone being able to maintain a good sight picture is actually easier with this side charger.
