I purchased this mount for my new Weatherby Vanguard Short action .308 rifle. It was the only one piece mount with integral rings I could find that would fit. This design provides superior strength and minimizes the effect of barrel harmonic vibration. It came with an allen wrench in a bubble pack, without instructions, or warranty info. The cardboard label gives a brief description, and torque values for the mounting. DNZ's web site provides very detailed description, and mounting instructions, accessed by clicking the FAQ/Videos window. And be advised, THEY ARE A MUST! While mounting is simple, DNZ explicitly states that use of lock tight will void the Warranty. Lock tight is not needed, so be sure and use the instructions. I really don't consider the lack of paper instructions a negative, as it saves on cost, and trees, But DNZ should really include a notice about lock tight on the label, and point the customer to the website.
Low, medium, and high heights are offered, and I chose the low mount, and it gives me perfect eye/cheek weld alignment with the scope. They come in black and silver, and I chose black. Note: The black paint will chip off a bit during mounting, unless you can avoid touching it with your wrench or bit. I plan on Ceracoating it eventually and it wasn't a big deal for me.
