Shipping was fast, the product worked exactly as described. Instructions were easy to follow. Mounting screws fit the action perfectly.

Sturdy lightweight and easy to mount. Great for a hunting rifle.

The mount/base itself is quite nice, but a couple of the screw heads couldn't handle being torque to the torque specs of the mount manufacturer. They really need to up the quality on the screws.

As the title says, the silver color doesn't exactly match the silver/stainless color of my Howa and Weatherby Vanguard (effectively the same rifle). It's pretty close, though, so it's tolerable -- not like the black scope matches, anyway. The silver is clearly a kind of paint, though, and almost looks like it's rattle canned vs. annodized or powdercoated or something that. Or maybe it is but it doesn't look "high end". The ring screws provided are chrome instead of a matte color, which was unfortunate. I found that the 30mm Medium size held a 50mm objective scope just above the barrel, enough to install scope caps if I wanted. Considering this is going on a Weatherby Magnum, I would have preferred more than 2 screws per ring but I've never had one of these fail to hold. I just wish that DNZ would put a little more emphasis in machining quality. These do feel/look a little cheap.

Used it (medium height version) to mount Primary Arms 4-14x44mm scope on Howa 1500 short action.
Fits perfect. Feels solid and strong after mounted the scope. Haven't shot the rifle yet.
Height is perfect as well. Low height version probably will be a bit too low.
Mounted at approximately the middle of the available space of scope, still have about 1 inch room to wiggle back and forth if needed.
Had to go to DNZ website to find the right torque setting (not in instruction came with the mount).

Tough, good looking and precision built mount/ring combo. Less to go wrong and lighter than most steel equivalents! I will be replacing more of my mounts with these! The best part is that you know the rings will be true which can mean the difference between making the shot or not. The rings never need to be lapped and they wond mark or crease the tube. Great product!

I put my new Game Reaper DNZ on my .308 Win. topped with a Nikon Prostaff 7 and she's ready to roll. DNZ Game Reaper is the most sensible choice being one piece, lightweight and most importantly the strength is superior. This is not my first DNZ purchase and it will not be my last. Great product and great service from Optics Planet.

I purchased this mount for my new Weatherby Vanguard Short action .308 rifle. It was the only one piece mount with integral rings I could find that would fit. This design provides superior strength and minimizes the effect of barrel harmonic vibration. It came with an allen wrench in a bubble pack, without instructions, or warranty info. The cardboard label gives a brief description, and torque values for the mounting. DNZ's web site provides very detailed description, and mounting instructions, accessed by clicking the FAQ/Videos window. And be advised, THEY ARE A MUST! While mounting is simple, DNZ explicitly states that use of lock tight will void the Warranty. Lock tight is not needed, so be sure and use the instructions. I really don't consider the lack of paper instructions a negative, as it saves on cost, and trees, But DNZ should really include a notice about lock tight on the label, and point the customer to the website.
Low, medium, and high heights are offered, and I chose the low mount, and it gives me perfect eye/cheek weld alignment with the scope. They come in black and silver, and I chose black. Note: The black paint will chip off a bit during mounting, unless you can avoid touching it with your wrench or bit. I plan on Ceracoating it eventually and it wasn't a big deal for me. These mounts are worth every penny. I use this mount on every rifle I own, The name is Dead nutz and it lives up to there name. It can with stand any torture test a die hard Hunter can throw at it. Don't have to worry about knocking it around like other mounts.

Nothing to go wrong, perfect alignment, one less thing to worry about. It worked great with my Howa .308
Pros: simple, light, foolproof.
