Surprisingly nice

by Jon, from KY, United States Written on August 2, 2017
If your looking for a nice one piece mount for Your AR15 or any picatinny railed rifle then this is it. Pictures do not do it justice. Mount has a nice finish and appears very well made. Everyone who sees it wished they had found this one at the price point. WILL clear a 50 mm objective lens as well. Sits low and I will buy more if it holds up after outings. Buy it.
Pros:
  • sleek design
Cons:
  • Unsure
Best Used for:
  • All jobs

DNZ picatinny rail mount 1"

by BrthrB, from WI, United States Written on January 24, 2016
Recently mounted this on an AR rifle. Product seems solid and sturdy. Fit and finish are excellent!

I would prefer the clamping nuts to be on the left (again my personal preference), however I've had no issues with the set-up on the right side (they don't seem to interfere)!
Pros:
  • Offset provides multiple mounting options
  • Very easy to mount
Cons:
  • None
Would recommend: Yes

Well Built, EZ install

by IT Zombie, from CA, United States Written on January 21, 2015
This is not a cheap mount. Looks good in contrast to my Leopold silver scope on my AR-10. It was super easy to install. Time will tell if it will hold steady from the pounding of a .308. Less expensive than a Leopold mount.

DNZ quality

by Da Chris, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on October 9, 2014
This item is currently used to mount a Nikon Buckmaster 4.5 - 14 x 40 scope to a Stag Arms Model 6. The fit was perfect with great clearance all around. I have only had bolt action rifles until I purchased the Model 6, so I am new to the AR platform. When researching AR scope mounts, I narrowed it down to the Nikon, Leupold, and DNZ brands. Nikon and Leupold are durable in every way I am sure, but I chose the DNZ based on price and other DNZ products I have. I have a DNZ Game reaper mounted on a Savage Mark II (3 years) and a DNZ Hunt Master mounted on a Savage Axis .223 (2 years). I have never had to re-tighten any screws on either of them and neither of the scopes mounted on them have had to re-zeroed. DNZ is a product I trust and appreciate. Made in the United States by Americans for Americans.
Pros:
  • durable
  • easy to use.
  • Qualtiy
Cons:
  • None

Works better than expected.

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on April 20, 2013
Was looking to mount a burris handgun scope on a DPMS LR-308. This works flawlessly. Now I'm just waiting for all this April snow to go away so I can go out and test it.

Needed a mount that was low and allowed for proper eye relief. This mount does both and have had no problem taking the recoil.

DNZ 161FPT

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on August 20, 2011
This scope mount is very solid and easy to mount. No problem adjusting for proper eye relief and my Magpul MBUS fits under it perfectly. This was my first 1-piece mount and I liked it so much I bought a 2nd one.
Pros: Very solid, lightweight, looks good.
Cons: The rings need to be lapped even though DNZ states they don't, but all rings need it anyway.
