Awesome fixed stock
very sturdy but light stock. The foam pad gives a comfortable check weld. Highly recommend if going with a fixed stock. Has the most qd attachment points I’ve ever seen on a stock and also includes a very nice as sling swivel. For the money you can’t ask for more. Plus it’s made here in USA!
Does not come with QD sling mount
One of the best stocks on the market. 4 stars, not 5 because photo shows the QD sling mount that IS NOT included! Some say foam gets in the way of charging handle but not in my cases. LMT, Dpms, Colt, DD, Bushmaster, and JP Enterprise receivers all fit without charging handle rubbing against the foam. Have the stock on a couple rifles over 10 yrs old and foam is in perfect condition.

Simply The Best
The DoubleStar Skeleton stock is simply the best stock on the market. DoubleStar has built a strong, durable piece. This stock can absolutely take a beating at the range and handle the most difficult shots with the padded buffer tube. Use the stock with or without the butt-stock pad for a correct length of pull or comfort. The quick-detach sockets give you options for sling mounts left or right. To top it off, the stock is aesthetically pleasing.

Perfect fit and finish
High quality with no imperfections, exceeded expection, easy install with some silicone spray on the buffer wrap. Did a show off with friends and everyone was impressed. Still need to run some rounds but not expecting any problems, with probably buy another.

Good to go.
I used this to replace my sloppy collapsable stock on a Rock River. This stock solid and steady with no movement. It is lighter too. Remove and replace is straight forward. I watched you tube video just for any hidden hacks or issues to worry. Easy peasy. Glad I purchased.

This is an awesome stock. It is light weight and great quality. I have two and would buy another if I needed one. I would recommend to anyone looking for a fixed stock. It was easy to install and I am very happy with my purchases.

My Personal Winner
I've bought a lot of different stocks. Way too many stocks. This is the best one.
Installation of the foam tube padding is easy with some patience. Installation of the rubber buttpad results in a tight fit without crushing the plastic inserts like some other reviews have complained about.

Excellent Stock and I will be buying again
Install is quick and easy (if you follow the "floating" tips for the pad install). This stock is very light and provides good comfort. I plan to pick up at least one more for another build I am working on.

Slick and comfortable
The product was not as difficult to assemble as some would say, just follow the instructions. It’s a great addition to the AR platform rifle. It made my rifle look slick and feels comfortable while shooting. I plan on buying another one from OpticsPlanet for my next build

Love this stock
First off if you want to use carbine buffer or armaspec or jp captured spring you need an adapter this is for rifle systems out of the box. the adapter is like 5$. This stock is really comfy and looks great SUPER LIGHT! I did locktite the butt pad screws and haven't had any wiggle or play like some people have had but would be nice to have separate screws for the stock mounting and then for the butt pad. If you mount with pad the screws goes through the rubber pad then secures the stock which "can" Leave room for wiggle.

Double star butt stock
These are the best-looking stocks on an AR-15 they work really nice and very good quality I just put some plain Dawn dish soap on mine and push the foam tube on work really well. The buffer tube came with it so there was no guessing what size to get
