I’ve bought a few of these….the difference is subtle, but it helps, in my opinion it’s definitely better and more forgiving to a shooter who can group consistently, than the stock guide rod. Or if you’re running a compensator.

They say you’re supposed to change the guide rod after 5000rounds if your ejection patterns rounds no longer go to the right. So for most that could get expensive depending on how often you shoot. I shoot 150 to 250 every trip roughly. I’ve yet to encounter any issues.

But I’m a believer in these products. They work. Pricey but if you can catch on sale or a coupon, well worth it.

Honestly in my arsenal I have only one Glock and it’s the gen 4 G21. Only bought it because it was brand new and a buddy gave me a price I couldn’t refuse. I don’t like how it felt in recoil for one and that alone made me think what a hunk of metal I just bought. Of course it’s a .45 but it didn’t feel like the other .45’s I had in the full size. I have a DPM in my Canik TP9 SD, Kimber .45 and love how they shoot with it so I thought let’s try it out. With a Timney trigger and the DPM it’s night and day. My reset is seconds faster with this gadget and can get back on target so much quicker. Really impressed. Overall I enjoy shooting this machine now. It smoothed out the recoil so much that you can feel how heavy the slide is. I’m so impressed on how just the simplest things that are perfected turn an ugly duckling into a swan. I recommend this to anyone that has the very problem I had in felt recoil. Even have a few buddies that went out and got this setup and praise it. OP has the best price and their packaging department is on point. Got it fast. Came days earlier than expected. Like it so much I’m ordering it for my Canik SFx Rival S Darkside this very day after I hit submit on this review.

I accidentally ordered a system for Gens 1-3 first time. Return was easy and reordered a right one easily.

Excellent product to help reduce recoil, even-though my accuracy hasn't improved, but that's on me for trigger control & all new shooters crutch/tendency of anticipating recoil & hitting low left or right depending on dominant hand.

Enough about me, this is a great product to reduce recoil even if your accuracy doesn't improve right away.

Purchase for my Walther Q4 SF to experiment with and found myself liking the changes to the recoil it makes. Definitely makes follow up shots easier and helps keep the sight on target. Direct replacement to the oem springs and guide rod.

Advertised to fit a gen4 glock 23. This product does NOT FIT. Will not allow my slide to fully attach. So I will be returning this product and going with a different company. I'm not sure if they packaged the wrong spring but I am not satisfied.
