Works as advertised

Softens the extra kick in the recoil just enough. There was a hard snap at the end of the recoil cycle that reminded me of 357 out of a J frame. Hellcat is almost shootable now. Granted it took an apex trigger, rdp barrel, talon grips and this to make it work. If I had to do it again I could buy both slimline glocks for the same price, but if you insist on making the hellcat work for you, this is what it needs.

Significant difference in recoil/stability

I have used the DPM recoil systems on some smaller guns, including two that already had compensators on them (Herrington on a P365 and Springfield Hellcat RDP). I’ve found that these have made more of a difference than the compensators made on both of those guns. It’s basically like having a really good comp, but without having to comprise the compact size, etc.

DPM recoil reduction system for Hellcat 3.0 barrel

I was pleasantly surprised at the recoil system DPM, that I felt it was about 25% reduction of this little snappy pistol and I quite enjoyed shooting it with the 150 rounds through it and I had no problems with the functionality of the pistol. I highly recommend this product.

Great item, reduced recoil, will purchase same brand for my AK

This was a great item, it reduced the recoil, came with instructions although not needed, and made me end up keeping my hellcat instead of looking for something less snappy. This was good enough I will be going to DPS for a recoil spring for my other weapons just because why not, less recoil= better second shot follow up

Easy to install

Overall it reduced my recoil by roughly 20% which helped with accuracy for follow-up shots. So easy to install but made my hellcat a little harder for my gf to chamber the first round. Otherwise would have given it 5 stars.

Dpm makes a huge difference

I've put DPM products in my PPQ my shield 40 my service weapon a CZ75 Compact and now the Hellcat..reduced recoil noticeably was able to quickly reacquire target rapidly.The DPM. System doesn't eliminate the recoil it makes in manageable. In the CZ75 Compact it works like a charm
Pros:
  • perfect addition
  • Reduce muzzle flip
  • Improve target reacquisition
  • Make multiple shots easier
Cons:
  • But pricey
  • Gotta get the right spring selected
Best Used for:
  • all weapons
