Great bag for EDC items, not great for CCW/cross body
Pros: Good company, good quality, good price. Does not have the tacti-cool look so doesn't draw attention.
Cons: Less than ideal for cross body carry. The strap position and angle (lower down and straight out from pack) cause it to pull away from chest slightly and is less comfortable than others when worn this way. They don't call it a sling bag so no knock on them, just be aware. Small front pocket has reinforced angle stitching (good for strength) but made it a tight fit for Iphone 12 with slim case. I chose the regular size, the XL would help.
The deal breaker for me was when using as ...

Great vacation bag
I use my Bando bag when I'm on vacation sightseeing instead of a backpack

Wish it was deeper but will buy again.
Used to store ifak, spare mags, and snacks. Enough storage to carry most of what I need for the job. A little more depth would be appreciated as the back pocket is incredibly shallow and placing a pistol, spare mags, or whatever in there greatly reduces es the usable space in the other compartmenta.

It's a great pack
It took me a while to get this bag because they sell out pretty quick when they are in stock. I had to wait 4 months. Since I was waiting over the winter months, I didn't mind because I will primarily use this for summer carry. The bag is well made and well thought out. My one gripe is that I wish it were maybe 20% bigger. It's tough to fit my wallet and phone and gun in the pack. For reference, I carry a p365 xl with a sharp bros grip module and a tlr7 sub

great conceal carry option for the every day “grey man”
Eberlestock is becoming one of my favorite brands—love their quality. I bought the Bando Bag so I could conceal carry in gym shorts and joggers—IE, any bottoms that don’t allow me to wear a belt. I also love how unassuming the Bando Bag is. It doesn’t scream “tactical” and looks like any pouch a Patagonia-like brand would sell. Perfect for the every day “grey man.”
The conceal carry compartment has a Velcro side which is great because I bought a cheap IWO kydex holster, took off the belt clip, and put Velcro on one side to make sure my gun is secure and most importantly, in something that guards the trigger.
Though it’s meant to be carried across the waist, I carry it as a crossbody. That being said, the strap is extended all the way and is almost too short. I’m about 5’10” and just over 200lbs, so bigger dudes might find it too tight as a crossbody.
Great carry option if you ask me.
