Great idea, with a flaw... rain - Eberlestock H2 Gunrunner Backpack

This pack is great, unless you get stuck in rain or snow. with no cover for the butt of your rifle rain or snow runs down your rifle into the rifle sleeve. there is also no drain hole. Also the opening for the rifle sleeve catches water even with no rifle because it stays open theres no snaps or flap to close it off when not in use. so for even hikes when rain is a possibility its not a great choice. I use it for nice day hunts, or range bag.
