I Lied About the apacity!
I wish I could go in and update the reviews don't previously, I lied about the limitations of the Ed Brown magazines only fitting 8 rounds, "Sticking point when loading" I couldn't sleep so I gave it another go and low and behold I was able to fit 9 rounds in Yeaaa!!I digress, :( Thank you.. It's a 9 Round magazine.
very well made
Quality magazine. Easily installs and is removed. Drops out smoothly from the gun. Very nicely made. Can be used with many different types of ammo and bullet designs. Good price for a high quality magazine. Bought several of these. Will probably buy a few more in the near future.
Pros:
- Well constructed
- Nice finish and looks good
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Target shooting & defence
Would recommend: Yes

Ed Brown 10mm magazine
Very good, excellent function and the two base extensions are really nice to finish them off. I added the short base to mine and they came out flush to the magwell extension. 1911

doesn't fit all 1911's apparently
I bought this mag almost 2 years ago and took it out for the first time a couple weeks ago. It will not fit in my Rock Island 10mm 1911 unless the slide is locked back, at which point the slide will not go forward because the mag sticks up too high into the chamber. Other than that, it seems like it is a well build mag.
Would recommend: Yes

The mags will not work in my Rock Island 10 mm. Failure to feed constantly on all the mags I purchased.
Pros:
- well made
Cons:
- They will not feed
Would recommend: No

Works well
I bought these to use in a Dan Wesson Kodiak since additional factory mags were unavailable. I needed magazines with an extended base plate to work with the flared mag well on the Kodiak. They come with medium and large options for the extended base plates to ensure you get the fit that works best for your setup. They have worked flawlessly and have had no feeding or ejection issues.
Pros:
- Comes with extended base plate options
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Standard 1911 10mm
Would recommend: Yes

Good Magazines
Ed Brown makes good products. The mags I bought for my Kimber 10mm work good no feeding problems, drop free when mag release button is pressed. Price is a little high like all mags. These are good quality mags
Pros:
- Works good in my gun
Cons:
- All magazines are too expensive
Would recommend: Yes
I love but!
It works great!!but it's not a 9 round magazine lol trust me I tried even with my maglula no room for the 9th. Now my Wilson Combat 10mm fits 9 rounds which I'm about to order a second one of those. Slightly disappointed but $24. compared to $35. for one more round may be mentally worth it to me..
Pros:
- Runs good
Cons:
- 8 Rounds not 9
Best Used for:
- 10mm
Would recommend: Yes
