It's a nice upgrade
The threaded barrel was a bit more expensive than the standard Threaded barrels, but it is perfectly machined and looks really good on my Ruger pistol. Honestly, it was the only one I could find that was available. All the others were sold out and on back order. The price included shipping, and that helped. The thread adapter is very minimal, so it doesn't look odd with the suppressor. Overall I'm very happy with it.
suppressing my joy
So at the ripe old age of 75 I have finally bought a suppressor. Bought a little P17 also for the threaded barrel. Since I am on a spending spree bought this EFK fire dragon threaded barrel for my Ruger 57 as this P17 can use the same suppressor I bought.
Long story to say the barrel install was quicker than taking the 57 slide off to swap barrels. Fit perfect. Now I can rid my garden of pests without waking the neighbors.

Great barrel
Since Ruger has stopped making a threaded barrel I found this to be an affordable option, I will say that the the quality is second to none and the fit and finish is a 10/10. Works great with a suppressor.

5.7 barrel
Barrel has been great. Shoots so much better now that I can put a supressor on it. Only complaint would be when installing It got a little tight when bringing the slide all the way back in lock position, but after it was in it never had any malfunctions while shooting it
