Picatinny scope mount for Mossberg 595

fit perfect with my factory drilled receiver. Allows me low axis base to use whatever sight or optic I choose. Lately I have been using a red dot on gun for deer. Did not loosen up with blue locker on screws. Solid mount.

Made for the Mossberg

I wanted to turn my stock Mossberg 590 into a tactical home defense weapon and needed a Picatinny rail for my reflex sight. This mount by EGW is outstanding! Precision made of 6061 T6 Aluminum and came with 2 sets of screws (long & short) and a torx head bit for installation. The holes are machined precisely for the gun and the screws fit perfectly. Very reasonable price and made in the USA! Several models to choose from depending on your gun.

quality and precision

The factory mounts on my Mossberg 100atr 30-06 were spaced too far apart for a Leupold freedom 3-9x40 I recently purchased so I needed to change over to a picatinny one piece. Am extremely pleased with the quality and precision of the mount. It matched up perfectly and installed easily. Hard to believe how much it approved the appearance of my rifle as well. The Matt black finish is very close to the finish on my scope and rifle. Highly recommend this for anyone needing a one piece rail or just looking to dress up their rifle a bit.

Picatinny Rail Scope Mount for Mossberg Shotguns

Perfect fit

Mounted quickly with the mounting screws provided and a drop of blue thread locker on each. Perfect fit on Mossberg 500. My HoloSun red dot mounted easily to rail and has held zero after 200 rounds of 12Ga. Quality product.

Best option

Best rail for older Mossberg 500's. It fit perfectly and holds a red dot securely.
It's priced right and an easy install.I had been looking for one of these for some time and you must pay attention to the dates of manufacture of the gun to get the correct fit.

Install correctly

As far as the product is concerned, I love it. It is great. Looks awesome on my 695 Mossberg and gives it a more tactical look. Since there weren't any instructions and it only hade 4 screws, you kinda know where it goes. I installed it, put on the scope and bore sighted it. Went to the range to finish sighting, I could not pull back the bolt. Lesson: Make sure the bolt action works before you put on the scope. If the rail is on backwards you will not be able to use the bolt. When installed correctly it works great. Now I have to bore sight and go back to range. I'll be ok now.

Worthwhile product

Excellent piece of hardware. Used to replace a two piece set of bases that were not spaced properly to mount my Nikon Slug Hunter scope. The EGW base worked perfectly. Mounting was easy, the holes lined up and the screws did not protrude into the chamber. Good fit and good finish. Good solid base for heavy recoil shotgun.

Ihad a problem with the scope mount on my slug gun that cost me a nice deer this year. This mount has solved that issue and will allow me to change optics quickly.The rail mounted quickly and now I can use other scopes and change quickly from one to another.
