Most Helpful Positive Review A Necessary Evil
Ruger 10/22s have two problems. First, the front end of the receiver can be machined so that it will point your base (and therefore your scope) upward. This is called "the Ruger Hump". Second, the barrel clamp to the receiver only clamps at the bottom of the barrel, which acts to pull the barrel to point downward. Combine these issues with an older (1970s) Leupold 3x9 VXII with limited elevation adjustment, and you will not be able to sight in. Decent rail

For the price can't best it. Used it to extend my rail on my 10/22 for a larger ring set up for my optics. Install was easy and it came with all the necessary hardware. Highly recommend. More than likely will buy a couple more for my other 10/22.

Fits great

Bought this for a Ruger 10/22 to mount a red-dot onto. This pic-rail fit perfectly and finish was perfect. Personally I don’t care for the forward section “hanging” off the front of the receiver. This may be to allow for a broader range of fitment for certain scopes/rings. I just didn’t like that i was forced to remove the top portion of the rear iron sight-to allow for clearance. As typical of EGW, good quality mount for the money.

Nice rail for the Ruger 10/22

The rail is machined nicely and fits the 10/22 well. Provides a significant increase in placement of the rings/scope that allows for proper eye relief. Nice rail, decent price. Not much more you can say about a 4 in piece of machined aluminum.

Worth the Money

Solid, attractive, and easy to install. It comes with the right screws for the 10/22 receiver. The instructions include a suggested torque setting so a Fat Wrench or other torque wrench is a good idea as is Loctite. This rail works with a wide variety of scopes and mounts. I needed this extended rail to allow me to move the scope forward for proper eye relief with my larger variable scopes.

EGW 10/22 Rail

This is the third EGW Rail I have installed on my firearms. They allow flexible mounting options with regard to eye relief and work nicely with my Warne Quick Detach rings. You can spend more but I don't know why you would.

10/22 Never More Accurate

This rail fit perfectly and my 10/22 has never been more accurate. I mounted a 2x7 Redfield scope with Vortex 1" low rings and had plenty of clearance. I was hitting the bullseye at 50 yds and was very happy with the rail and OP's service and shipping times.
