Element Optics has a great reputation for having ultra clear glass, and this Helix 4-16x44 definately lives up to its reputation! The scope is as clear as anything I've looked through! The Helix is Element's entry level scope, and I really don't see how they could improve on it, except for the higher magnification in their high end scopes for people shooting at 500+ yard targets. There were cheaper options I could have gone with that offered the same magnification as the Helix, but I'm extremely pleased with this scope! I would definitely buy it again!
Pros:
- Super clear glass, and ease of zeroing!
Cons:
- Eye relief don't offer much fudge room.
Best Used for:
- Target, benchrest, and hunting
- Target/benchrest and hunting

The element scopes are a real value in today's market. They work for center-fire firearms like most scopes, but are also very useful for rimfires, and airguns. The parallax adjustment goes down to 10 yards in most cases. They withstand the punishment that Airguns dish out. Try one out you won't be disappointed. As a added bonus they are stout enough to knock out a sasquatch if you should run out of ammo.

This is my first Element Optics scope and bought it based on YouTube reviews for PCP. I haven't used the FFP 4-16x44mm much, but from what I can tell so far, cosmetically and mechanically, the scope will be a great asset to the Avenge-X. The only feature I wish it had was an illuminated reticle, but for the price point, I completely understand why it doesn't.
Pros:
- Price point
- Build quality

Clearly shows crosshair for the MOA and dot for the MRAD I ordered the MOA I like small crosshairs for micro elevation and windage on my airgun shoots found out later Emo helix does not come with crosshairs at all. Would have returned but optics planet accepts no responsibility for products once it leaves their facility. Guess I'm stuck with a dot.

With strong clear glass this scope is made with high quality features for a fair price, the FFP reticle is perfect as it allows the reticle to remain static and calibrated no matter what magnification you are using. This helps you keep precise groupings within reach, ensuring that every shooting session is effective and beneficial.

I picked up the FF mils version for my FX Dreamline and love it. The reticle is spot on for my small game at long range needs. At 16 power I can now use the brackets to size my game and hold over for accurate shot placement. Took some time learning but well worth it for a fast shot without ranging. All the element scopes are well worth the price of admission.

I bought this scope to put on my varmint rifle. The reticle and turrets made zeroing the rifle super easy just count the MOA in the scope and then adjust the turret based on those numbers! It was the perfect zoom range for my needs and the reticle is crisp and the glass is super clear.
Pros:
- FFP
- Reticle and clarity
- stainless steel turrets

Helix APR-1C MOA 2-16×50 SFP has a super intuitive reticle. Very well thought out. I like that you don't need any tools to adjust the turret too. The reticle is illuminated and the scope has a lifetime warranty.

Picked this scope up on Dvor for a great price. Put it on a CZ527 in 223 Rem and it's perfect. Images are clear throughout the entire magnification range. Tracks like it should, turret clicks are audible and precise and the zero-stop is easily set and or changed. After sighting in and shooting a few groups, I shot a different rifle that has an Arken SH4 Gen2 on it. The difference in image quality was so apparent that now I'm looking to replace the Arken with an Element Helix in 6-24x50. It was a night and day difference and they're similarly priced. So if you're reading this, buy from Element and don't look back.
Pros:
- Price
- Clarity
- Turrets are precise
Best Used for:
- Target shooting
- LR hunting

Element Helix with the MOA tree style reticle is my initial foray into the First Focal Plane Rifle Scope arena. Every Element Optics Rifle Scope comes with a heavy foam lined box you will want to keep along with an impressive library of educational material. The majority of this material is viewable with any internet connected smart device that has a working camera. Most importantly, there are videos explaining the how and why of proper scope torquing. You can navigate to these videos here: https://element-optics.com/videos/ This link provided by Element Optics also has specific videos to assist in rifle scope purchase decision making, making it easier for end users to mate their rifle scopes to specific use cases. That being said, my rifle scopes generally end up being moved around from time to time (especially when considering new purchases) so I can get a feel for different rifle scopes on different rifle platforms along with experiencing different locations and conditions, ideally.
I have used the Helix in multiple ring setups and haven’t had any issues going back and forth throughout the elevation, windage, and parallax ranges during testing, most of which has happened within 15-50 degrees Fahrenheit. The adjustments feel great when clicking through the range and any hangup with the covers was easily remedied with silicone lubricant, which is what I have on hand for Pre-Charged Pneumatic Rifles (my rifle scopes are shared among powder and PCP rifles). I like to use sili...
