Most Helpful Positive Review Love it!
This fits everything i use at work like my folders, ipad, and of course my gun, i have an xd compact and it fits perfect and holds very securely, i work at a sod farm and some days im at the office doing marketing and others i am at the farm and need something to carry all my stuff including my firearm while keeping it secret and safe. I was afraid it was gonna be too small but ended up being the perfect size, not small and gay looking and not big like most tactical bags are. This is a great option for anyone in a casual office, college, someone whos traveling, or someone who is the outdoorsy ...

Perfectly Done

by Chad, from NC, United States Written on April 23, 2018
This is the best concealed carry item I’ve ever used. If you need something on your hip, maybe it’s not for you, but let me make my case. First, everybody looks normal with a backpack slung over their shoulder, regardless of what they’re wearing. Second, you can get this thing in royal blue, which looks about as “non-tactical” as anyone could possibly imagine. Also, I like to carry a big gun with big bullets that go real fast. My Glock 20 is tough to conceal, but not with this bag. Finally, it’s super practical beyond just being a concealment product. It has a great laptop compartment and tons of other compartments that make it a great office bag. Finally, it’s just built like a tank. I’ve had this bag for about 5 years now and wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Pros:
  • practical
  • inconspicuous
  • Design and construction
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • dailiy use

Great sized pack

by Thomas, from NV, United States Written on March 22, 2018
I have search many web sites and viewed many different packs before choosing this one. I was looking for a average sized pack for daily use and day hikes. This bag comes with the velcro holster and is ambidextrous with access to the CCW compartment on both sides of the pack. I have a Sig P320 Compact with the Romeo1 sight that fits just fine. Switching the sling is simple for LT or RT shoulder. The front zip compartment has a key clip and multiple pockets. I put my wallet, protein bars, pens, small notebook, headphones, sunglass case and knife in there. The main compartment has a small mess zipper pouch at the top that is perfect for a tactical light and anything small you don't want to end up at the bottom out of reach. I put the AR500 Level IIIA 11"x15" armor in the main compartment and it fits great. It's the same width and is almost the same height, just a few inches short which gives you access to the upper zipper pouch. There is still room for my laptop and file folder when I go to work. When we are hiking our water bottles fit in there fine with the armor along with a light pullover jacket. At the base of the sling is a zipper pouch the is perfect for an extra magazine. I haven't used all the velcro tabs on the sling yet, they would work great for something you needed to use often and the web pouch at the bottom is too small for a cell phone. Would be good for a credit card and ID wallet for quick access I would think.
Pros:
  • convenient size
  • snaps to secure CCW pocket
  • back padding
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Daily use

Elite smokescreen bag

by James, from FL, United States Written on April 11, 2017
Carry pocket could be a bit bigger (barely fits fullsize pistol), other than that, good product. Strap storage for other side shoulder carry can get in the way of CCW, so careful consideration must be given. And better photos on website would have made decision better.

Great for Concealed Carry

by MKS, from WY, United States Written on June 22, 2016
I love this bag. I've been looking for a concealed carry bag for a few months and decided to take the plunge with this one and I couldn't be happier. I'm left handed and the ambidextrous options for this pack are spot on. The concealed compartment is well hidden, yet easy to access. The bag does come with a Velcro "holster" that is located in the concealed compartment when you receive the bag. When I say "holster" it's really an adjustable nylon strap that fits around the trigger guard and then velcros in place in the concealed compartment. The concealed compartment does have velcro on both the top and bottom portion of the compartment. The main compartment of the bag is large enough that I use it to hold butt wipes, diapers, a couple change of clothes for toddlers, among other things. It also secures a few extra magazines, my cell phone, knife, and other items I may carry every day. The thing I love most about this bag is that it doesn't scream "I'M CONCEAL CARING A GUN!" It's a perfect discreet carry bag that also doubles as my diaper bag for my kids.
Pros:
  • Blends in
  • Good amount of cargo space
  • Doesn't look like a purse
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Concealed Carry, especially during summer months

Elite Survival Systems Smokescreen Concealment Backpack

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from WV, United States Written on November 10, 2013
Cons first...I use a Glock 21 with a Viridian CL5 laser/light combo. A little tight getting it out of the zippered area. The wrap around velcro piece that holds the weapon is rather stiff and my laser/light snags on to the velcro webbing. Should be no problem with unlighted guns. I am going to try to mount my kydex holster in there with velcro, this should cure the hangup problem. Other than that I love it. Looks and carries great. Very well made. Sturdy. It is strange that I have not heard back from the company after I sent them some questions.
Pros: Well made, looks great, nice features
Cons: Struggle with mounted lights
