My Experience with the Eotech G45
Sadly the eye relief was so bad I had to send it back for a refund. I love Eotech EXPS 3 Holographic weapon sight and I wanted a magnifier to go with it. Unfortunately, this didn’t work out for me. Hopefully others will have a better experience. For me an LPVO is a better choice.
It’s worth the cost
Excellent magnifier and worth the cost. Built solid as a rock, all the way down to the mount. Excellent clarity. Great field of view. Love the adjustment knobs which are very smooth and tight to avoid any unexpected misalignments during handling and firing. I personally prefer the 5X power over the 3X power. Optics Planet had the best price when I was shopping for mine and I highly recommend them for their free and fast shipping. Great value and a great company.

best RDS Magnifier I own
I have two other EoTech Magnifiers. A G43 and a G45 NM, both in black. I ordered each on for a different rifle. The G43 is more thn sufficient for my 9mm PCC. With thw G45, I needed to reach out a little farther with my 5.56. It handled it perfectly. Can easily shoot out to 200-300 yards. The glass is ceyatal clear.... the field of view is good, not great, but it's magnification is really good. Not a lot of distortion or fisheying along the outter rim.

besst 5x Magnifier
I oicked up my first Eotech Magnifier about 3 years ago. It was the G43 3x veraion. It was an excellent upgrade over the previous Romeo or Holosun magnifiers I used with on some of my other builds. Then, I recently picked up my first 5x Magnifier at thw end of last year. It was super crisp, had a great field of view, and vwry little distortion.
I am working on another build and won't go with anything else... it works really well on targets out to 100+ yards.

Eotech 5x mini magnifier
Very solid, compact, & clear. Mounts up easily and lines up perfectly with the slap to side mount. Very pleased with the optic and look forward to putting many a round on it. QD mounts make for easy swaps between rigs.

Eotech G45 Magnifier
This magnifier is awesome. The glass is crystal clear, and the 5x magnification really helps my old eyes with hitting targets with my red dot from 200 - 400 yards

Impossible Eye Relief
I am trying to use this with an EXPS3 on my 14.5 Geissele, unable to use it due to the extremely tight eye relief. I paired it with an Unity flip to center mount, mount is nice but both together also add a substantial weight. I removed it and will buy a dedicated scope for when shooting 100+ yards.
