I oicked up my first Eotech Magnifier about 3 years ago. It was the G43 3x veraion. It was an excellent upgrade over the previous Romeo or Holosun magnifiers I used with on some of my other builds. Then, I recently picked up my first 5x Magnifier at thw end of last year. It was super crisp, had a great field of view, and vwry little distortion.

I am working on another build and won't go with anything else... it works really well on targets out to 100+ yards.

Very solid, compact, & clear. Mounts up easily and lines up perfectly with the slap to side mount. Very pleased with the optic and look forward to putting many a round on it. QD mounts make for easy swaps between rigs.

This magnifier is awesome. The glass is crystal clear, and the 5x magnification really helps my old eyes with hitting targets with my red dot from 200 - 400 yards

I am trying to use this with an EXPS3 on my 14.5 Geissele, unable to use it due to the extremely tight eye relief. I paired it with an Unity flip to center mount, mount is nice but both together also add a substantial weight. I removed it and will buy a dedicated scope for when shooting 100+ yards.

I currently run a G33 with an EXPS on my Kriss Vector and have always enjoyed the simplicity and the crisp reticle I get using the diopter. When I picked up my Tavor X95, I didn’t hesitate to order a G45 with another EXPS. Having the ability to instantly switch between 1× and magnified shooting is second to none for me. The mount is clean, robust, and easy to use, and I really appreciate that you can re-center the reticle after zeroing. Mine was slightly off to the right, but the horizontal and vertical adjustments brought it perfectly to center without any hassle.

One thing people don’t mention enough: when you flip the magnifier to the side, you can still use your backup iron sights. On the Tavor, that’s a perfect setup.

The only reason I knocked off one star is cosmetic. I ordered the Tan G45 and Tan EXPS to match my Tavor in FDE. The EXPS matches the rifle perfectly, but the G45 is noticeably darker and doesn’t match the EXPS at all. Purely aesthetic, but I like my setup to match.

Took this to the range for the first time paired it with their holographic and worked well the eye relief was better than others I have used glass is clear no complaints

The glass is CLEAR! The mount is awesome. Eye relief is only 2 inches roughly so you’ve gotta get right up on it. Adjusting it was super easy. Makes those longer shots far easier to see.
