Awesome optic!

I really like the design of the EOTech holographic sights. Super easy to get on target especially for quick follow up shoits. The design is rock solid and built like a T-34. It has taken a lot of abuse and remains very reliable. The only complaint I have is the Battery life and the 2 button shut off. I have sometimes thought that I had shut it off only to find out that I hadn't made sufficient contact with both buttons and I only managed to change the brightness setting and it was left on. The battery life is definitely something to consider and leaving it on by accident will drain the batteries quickly. All in all it is the best red dot on the market for me but YMMV.

Excellent Optic & Great Buying Experience

I bought my EOTech EXPS3-1 Tan from OpticsPlanet, and everything was perfect. The price was great, shipping was fast, and the optic arrived brand new in perfect condition. As for the EXPS3-1, I’m extremely happy with it. I chose the single-dot version over the classic donut reticle, and it was the right decision for me. The dot is crisp, easy to pick up, and the large viewing window makes target acquisition fast and natural. Outstanding optic—I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

Great Red Dot but Blurry

We bought this red dot because people said it worked well with an astigmatism. We wanted something that could be used without contacts but unfortunately, this wasn't it. With contacts, the reticle was really clear, but without them, it became two or three times as thick - which defeated the purpose. I would recommend this dot if you have decent eyes, but if you don't and you're looking for something that can be used with or without contacts, I would look elsewhere.

no longer a fan of 'donut of death' reticle, the single dot is less distracting = faster target acquisition

wide square view, auto shut off...this is the only red dot I will buy now

It’s on Eotech. One of my favorite and go to optics. They just work. Hard to say anything bad about these.

unique reticle

I put the dcr reticle on my 8.3" 300 blackout. The rifle is for home defense and backyard critters as needed. I like the more open reticle with the chevron on the bottom for simple target acquisition and aiming. Great with both eyes open or with nvg.
