EOTech and Bushnell Holosight repair parts
The Bushnell Holosight was an earlier circle dot sight, mid or late 80’s, and EOTech bought them out and slightly modified the Holosight line and made it the EOTech 512 as we know if today. They made some refinements and toughened it up. So I have a Bushnell Holosight that needed some work, the battery compartment internal parts and the gaskets and battery contacts needed replacement. Easy to install
I was worried that my EOTech 512 was damaged beyond repair due to battery corrosion. I ordered this Battery Sight Contact Replacement Kit along with a new Battery Cap. Price was very reasonable and shipping was very fast. I had my doubts that it would work, and thought it would be a difficult procedure. It actually took much longer to read the instructions than the actual replacement, which took less than two minutes. I thought....can't be that easy, this won't work. Then I turned on the sight and BINGO, no worries. PLEASE NOTE: There are two washers with the kit, and it might look like you only have one but they are tiny and stick together. Just separate them.

Fixed my Bushnell
I have an older Bushnell red dot and the battery compartment is poorly designed. After trying to repair it, I finally threw it in a drawer out of frustration. I was skeptical when I saw this kit on the Optics Planet website. However it works well and my Bushnell lives again.The compartment is still poorly designed but is now functional again. Cheap fix!

Works as advertised
Easy to install, plenty of YouTube videos out there if you need them. Had my doubts that this would fix my sight but it turned right on, happy to see the red crosshairs again! Would recommend for anyone whose sight has corrosion on the contacts.

EOTech Battery Contact Replacement Kit
Have run Eotech's for years now and love them. I recently tried to turn on one that had been sitting for approximately 6 months. When it did not turn on, I thought the batteries were dead. When I opened the compartment, one of the batteries had gone bad and completely corroded the terminals. I was sick. I thought I was going to have to send this back to the factory for repair. A quick internet search revealed a factory repair kit reasonably priced and in stock at Optics Planet. Package arrived. Followed the directions. Within 10 minutes all new contacts were replaced and fresh batteries inserted. Red Ring of Death was back in business LOL.

Perfect replacement for damaged or corroded parts
Fit perfect. Easy to replace. Good instructions. Also works on Bushnell holographic sight that is no longer made. It looks like Eotech 512. After installation replaced batteries, turn rd d in sight and adj. intensity. Very happy. A great price.

Keep your 512 or other EoTech up and Running
This kit is affordable, and just what is needed to replace the worn out gasket or corroded/weak contact springs for your Post-2009 AA battery powered EoTech. The paperwork my kit came with was confusing and stated the kit was for pre-2008 HWS’s, but that was not the case. Install is quick and easy, and should only take 5 minutes.

Worked Great!
Bought this and the new battery cap/compartment as a kit package and i will tell you it brought my Bushnell Holosight right back to life! Like most I had left batteries in it too long and they corroded. Thought I had lost my favorite sight until I came across this on Optics Planet. Easy to install and worked great. If you have a 5-series large AA type EoTech or Like me, an original Bushnell Holosight that needs help, This is the place. I am so happy and have installed it onto my new Braced 9mm Extar pistol. Wooo Hooo! I am just going to go ahead and get myself another set to keep, just in case. Oh, and I will go out tomorrow and buy myself some LITHIUM batteries!

Easy any straight forward replacement
I was pretty sure that my my eotech would need to be factory repaired. I then learned that the battery contacts and the rubber bumper was a user maintenance item. On my sight I had to take the rubber bumper off to see the corrosion on the contact. Sight works fine now. The replacement was very simple and straight forward with the instructions.

Fixed my Bushnell Holo Sight
I used it to replace the battery contacts in an older Bushnell Holo Sight, which is the EOTech sight less the protective outside frame. Instructions were easy to follow. Works perfect now! ..........

Saved me from buying a whole new optic
This low cost item was easy to install and it got my sight working properly again. Considering the fact that a new sight would have cost around $600, I figured it was worth a shot. The item arrived quickly and I had it installed within a few minutes after watching a short YouTube video on how to install it.
