Most Helpful Positive Review works great for 870 and clones
I installed this on an H&R pardner pump 12 Guage which is a Remington 870 clone. Went on perfectly with no issues. This adapter also has a set screw for the buffer tube so you don't have to use a castle nut which I really liked since I was putting on a magpul fixed stock, and it wouldn't seat forwar...

Most Helpful Negative Review Grip angle is way off on Mossberg 500
Look at pictures and you will see that the grip angle and buffer angle are so far off that it makes this almost unusable. Buy a TacStar or Mesa Tactical adaptor and you will be much happier! I had to give this away and my buddy ended up giving it back.. tossed it in my “junk gun parts” bin. I like E...

there isn’t a set screw

by Ron, Verified Owner from OH, United States Written on December 29, 2024
I like this adapter. This my fourth one. This picture shows looks like a set screw to keep the buffer tube angle straight up and down. Which is very good to have. But there isn’t one and no place for one. So I have to dill and tap for my own set screw. I still use a casual nut on buffer tube but I find you still need a set screw to keep everything in place tighting everything up and keeping it there. I like the angle it puts the buttstock and the adapter is strong and very lightweight. Some other brands made out of cast are very heavy the angle not right unless you’re using optics. So I like this adapter and l own four of them.

Doesn't fit Black Aces pro S

by Jose, from MI, United States Written on January 17, 2024
Didn't fit Black Aces Pro S series. The material is typical 3D printer quality. I've been trying to replace my goofy birdhead grip, but no success yet.

Spend the Extra Money!

by Isaiah, from ME, United States Written on December 16, 2023
This product is not bad, especially for the price, however, as many others have mentioned the grip angle is seriously off for Remington 870. On top of that, the curves and the length of the front face are not on par with a regular AR lower, and therefore AR pistol grips hang over the edges. This leaves for an unfinished look and feel.

Great product

by Black Wing Outdoors, from TN, United States Written on December 16, 2023
Fit is nice. Easy to install. Run one box of 3”Heavy Loads, still tight, still secure. Best thing I like is the angle, for my build and measurements, it’s fast to the sight picture and recovers very fast. Since it is a polymer/ plastic/composite going to see how it handles extreme hot and cold.
Pros:
  • cost
  • performance
  • Fit
Cons:
  • non yet

shockwave perfect fit!

by Old Metal Head, Verified Owner from CO, United States Written on September 25, 2023
There are a lot of nuances when it comes to the smaller category of shotguns. Some parts “seem” like they will fit and do not. This one however does and fits just like it says it does. Fits perfectly and will take any mil-spec grip and buffer tube. You then have a ton of options for a stock or your choice and design. Note - Be careful with how “tight” you make the castle but….this is poly with poly threads…so don’t over-tighten or you will strip the threads and also you cannot “stake” them like a regular AR. Well worth the money!
Pros:
  • Fitment and ease of installation
  • host of options it opens uo
Cons:
  • polymer (if you hate polymer)

Wierd angle

by John Mitchell, Verified Owner from AL, United States Written on February 2, 2023
The piece it self is well constructed. The angle itself can't the buffer tube and pistol grip at a odd angle making the firearm look bent. The stock I bought came with angle adjustments. This still made the top of my buttstock Angled into my shoulder that made it uncomfortable to shoot.
Pros:
  • Price
Cons:
  • Ordered a different one
Best Used for:
  • trash

Beware, No set screw for buffer tube as shown!

by Jerry1911, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on September 9, 2022
These do not have a set screw on the rear to lock your buffer tube straight for your stock to line up. I had to drill mine and put a small screw into it to keep the buffer tube from twisting sideways. Definitely a manufacturing mistake because there is no way you would ever not need something to keep your stock inline.
