I fly FPV planes and quad copters. What people tend to call "drones." The FAA calls anything that flys by remote control a drone, clouding the issue a bit.
I recently bought Headplay Googles which seem very nice but my glasses wouldn't fit inside without major modifications so I sent for the prescription insert. I got it in less than a week and after a but of fooling around I found that the adapter that has two long things on either side of the nose and two wide arms on top could be wedged into place and holds the prescription insert just fine. If worst comes to worst I can easily pin it into place since the Headplay goggle is mostly foam.
I haven't flown with it yet but the single large screen of the goggle is very sharp and so far it's the best I've tried. I've probably got more than a half a dozen mediocre but expensive goggles and the Headplay with the prescription insert is the best so far. BTW. My oldest goggles are probably ten years old. I've been doing this for a long, long time!

I use these in conjunction with the ESS night vision profile googles, fit great and prescription was spot on. Contact lenses are not an option for me and I use these for force on force training. Its so nice to be able to see with goggles on and not having to worry about trying to find goggles that fit over my glasses or worse yet get bumped and bend my glasses out of shape.

Well...let me say to everyone that are cosidering these, YOU MADE A GOOD CHOICE! The service was awesome and the time to get them was about a week. ESS wanted to take a month to get them to me for almost double the price, that's NOT going to happen! These glasses with the clips are comfortable and very solid....I totally understand why the military uses these. I look forward to my next pair of glasses with optics-planet!

A little bulky, but that's probably because I haven't worn them in the field yet. These were the only inserts I could find that would fit the Oakley Eye Pros that I have. Prescription works great though, arrived on time too.

These took a little while getting to me, so keep that in mind when you order them. They fit just as they should into the ESS sunglasses I was issued at work. They seem a tad bulky once in place and that's the only reason I gave them a 4.
Pros:
- GREAT PRICE
- Easy to install
Best Used for:
- shooting range
- work safety

I placed My order and received a tracking confirmation about 10 days later. Upon receiving the inserts the installed quickly into the ess suppresor glasses, It only took a few minutes to adjust to wearing them and I was set and ready to go to the range. You can't go wrong with these inserts they do offer vise version that is larger and had a wire frame, but the urx has more versatility with ess and oakley products and offer military ballistic safety that a pair of ansi 87 safety glasses cant compare to.
Cons:
- close to eyebrows and lashes

It's an insert, does its job. The beauty of it is that it fits the ess gear and the oakleys, this is the last insert you'll ever have to buy.

Works well in the ESS glasses, very comfortable. My first prescription shooting glasses and now I don't know why I didn't do this before.
Pros: Does exactly what it says
Cons: none.

Super versatility. Makes RX correction possible with lots of protective eyewear. I got a near prescription for my mechanic work and a far prescription for driving/skiing/etc and the convenience of interchange is a major positive.
Pros: Highly Versatile, adapts to lots of Eyeshields and Goggles
Cons: The Black Frame is real Obvious with the Lighter Shields
