Good product
This mount took a minimal amount of filing to fit my Kimber custom 2. Fit with the RMR is great. Fast way to easily mount a red dot to a 1911. I would recommend this to anyone who want to try out a red dot on a pistol and not alter it permanently.

Not right for what its stated
Says it is for CZ Shadow 2 and it is not. Need to return it
Bomar mount for rmr on a sti pistol.
It fits very tight which is good. The directions say they recommend a site pusher. I did have one an older version but it still worked. I don’t think I would’ve got it installed without one. Mounted a RMR on it and it works great. Thanksr

EGW mounting plate for Ruger GP100
Super impressed with this mounting plate! I chose the EGW because it looked like it fit the Holosun optic very well. I have read reviews of other brands saying that it needed a little bit of fitting/filing to fit their application, so I was expecting this to necessary with the EGW as well. Not the case! This EGW dropped right in and was really snug, the mounting screw hole lined right up with no modifications. Top notch quality and fit, and it is almost exact shape/size of the Holosun 508T. Very pleased and highly recomend.

Great plate…wrong plate
My mistake, not anyone else’s. Got the wrong plate. Title states it’s for CZ Shadow 2. My Shadow 2 is optics ready. They are NOT the same. EGW does make the optics ready/Compact model plate, but not for sale on Optics Planet. Great product (I ordered the right one from EGW directly), just not the right variant.

EGW make great products
Works as advertised. Excellent product. I bought 2 as the web site indicated 10 in stock. One shipped immediately so I assume it was actually on hand. The second took several hours to post as shipped so I assume that one came from the manufacturer or distributor. Both purchases made on the same order, both packed and shipping label created on 12/20/24. I can't complain that "Free Shipping" is free, but one sight took 7 days to arrive, the other 13 days. My point is, the price was good, the service prompt, but if your jonesin for your toy, don't go for the "FREE" shipping, pay a few more pennies for something a little faster.

Novak Compatible Red Dot Mount
After some frustration ordering the wrong part I called and discussed my firearm with EGW customer service. This model fits my Tanfoglio Force 99 Sapi's Novak cut that previously had an LPA night sight. Awesome upgrade

Ready for Limited Optics
This is my second site plate from EGW. Since it was going on an Infinity Pistol I took the install job to my Smith, a day and $40 later the Bomar was in the box and the sturdy plate was on the gun. Infinity are expensive so I didn't want to scratch it up. The plate fit the Holosun pin holes snug and the screw holes are perfectly aligned. My other EGW site plate has had no issues on another gun for the first 5000 rounds. While milling the slide is a option, I find the plate in this case was a better choice, milling the Slide on an Infinity would probably reduce its value substantually.
