Great Product...
The picture is deceiving...but it's not a bad thing. There are actually 6 mounting nuts and bolts...not 3. Like others said some small modifications were needed but it fits well and it's strong. YouTube has good videos on pulling back the D ring without using a special tool.

Offering Two models would be better
I bought 2 separate uppers with standard M4 handguards, and I had to enlarge 4 of the holes to fit this accessory. Inexpensive and easy way to modernize plastic handguards
Unsure if it would fit my A2 hand guard based on other reviews, but it installed without any modifications. Some of the screw taps have extensions that were hard to line up, but I got them to snap into place with a bit of force. The others were slightly offset from center, so I suggest using blue Loctite to keep everything secure, though the ridges on the mount side line up with the ones on the handguard, so I doubt that it would move much. Overall, feels very sturdy and well made. Good option for someone who wants to add a pic rail to a plastic hand guard.

FAB handguard picatinny rail
Worked great. Exactly what I was looking for. Had to do a little modification on the handguard, but it only took a minute. It slants one way to make up for handguard slote.

As advertised
It does what it says that it does: it adds a rail to your plastic handguard. It's light, it fits, and you can add accessories like flashlights, vert grips, or bipods. It fits up well and was clearly designed with a bit of forethought. It can be placed as far forward or rearward as you would want on the rifle length or carbine length handguards. You could definitely break it if abused, but it seems every bit as strong as the factory handguard.

Doesn't work on Colt M4
The aluminum baffles inside my Colt M4 handgaurds are not removable [glued in place]. Bored out one of the vent holes in the baffle, but the screws were not long enough to grab the rail. To much modification needed to accommodate the rail. However, the rail looks well constructed and would have worked well for me if it would have fit on my M4

cheap option in a pinch
Not bad for the price. The angle that creates a parallel plain with the barrel is a nice touch. It looks a little off once installed. I am going to keep it installed, but if you're on the fence, I would just keep the regular handguard look. The vertical foregrip I installed is nice and perpendicular, but it allows me too much torque and creates a lot of give with the handguard (as it wasn't designed to experience it like that). That being said, if you really want to attach to this style handguard, I like the piece.

Nice way to get a rail easy.
I wanted to add a rail without changing out my heat shield. This is quick and easy. I would have given it 5 stars, but one of the holes didn't line up right. A few seconds with a file and all was fixed. This is tight and solid and works great.

not terrible
For a simple add on to a standard A2 handguard, it does the job. I was able to mount a forward grip. It's pretty sturdy, durable. You're getting what you pay for. Its a cheap fix to not having to change out the A2 handguard and shell out 100$ + for a new handguard.

Does not fit standard 9" handguards
Does not fit standard 9" handguards. These appear to only fit 6" handguards. The holes do not even line up correctly for 9". Someone wrote they had to do some Dremmel work...this should not be the case for any quality pieces.
