Compact for cqb, pkate carriers, shorter arms, etc - FAB Defense GL-CORE S CQB Optimized Combat Stock

The stock is shorter than most. On a CQB rifle or shotgun it gives you the advantage of much better maneuverability. It is also shorter vertically. The shape makes it easier to tuck it in, slide it up, or drop it from the shoulder. Shorter handlers, or those wearing body armor, may also benefit. If you were going to run it high on the shoulder, you will need what you’re wearing to grip the bottom of the butt pad because it’s rounded rather than squared off. Stock fits nice and firm but smooth on the buffer tube and does not rock side to side or in rotation. It can move fore and aft a tiny bit, but I didn’t notice as I pull the weapon into my shoulder. It’s got less movement and feels more precise than other stocks I own. It doesn’t have a locking lever, but it still feels tighter than the two that do. It will take a cheek riser although it works for me without it. When I take the weapon, slide the stock to adjust it, and pull it into my shoulder, it feels the best of those I have, and inspires confidence.
