The stock I received does not look like the one that is being advertised in the picture. Looks just like a plane stock. Maybe they they forgot to put pieces in the box but this is not what I received.

Unless you have your optic mounted real high it is risky as the charging handle tends to be restricted by the comb. This works great on a side charger AR or Bolt Action…

I gotta say that I was skeptical, but this worked quite well. I needed a cheek rest for my 50mm scope, but did not need, nor did I want, to buy a precision stock. The shock version was only a little more expensive so it was a no brainer. My 6.5 CM rifle doesn't kick a lot but the recoil reduction helps keep the scope on target to see hits and for quicker follow-up shots. I'm not sure that it would make a difference on AR-15 calibers but it sure does on AR-10 calibers.

I received a plain stock that was pretty much gutted out this does not have the recoil reduction built into this stock. The description is very misleading.

Worked great on my custom rifle build. I need a stock that was adjustable so my kids and i could shoot the same gun. Easy to use and quality build.

Overall I liked it a lot, for these reasons: (1) Was able to get my cheek weld dialed in perfectly with the adjustable cheek riser. (2) My Diamondback kicks like a mule and I was pleasantly surprised how well the recoil reduction works, made a big difference. However the so-called Unique Patented "Anti-Rattle" Mechanism is not working. The stock rattles pretty badly and it's real annoying, especially when the Anti-Rattle Mechanism is supposed to prevent rattle movement. Found out that this stock is "universal" so it's supposedly made for both Commercial and Mil-Spec, unlike how these stocks are shown on OP where it looks like you can order either a mil-spec or commercial the way they are listed. Because they are "universal", they really are made for commercial tubes but "will work" on a mil-spec. As a result it will not fit snugly enough on a mil-spec tube to engage the so called Unique Patented "Anti-Rattle" Mechanism so it functions as described. Pretty bummed out because I liked the stock but cannot stand the rattle. FAB Defense should make this stock for both types of tubes instead of this "universal" garbage which it really is not, this is actually a commercial tube buttstock because the "Anti-Rattle" Mechanism does not work on a mil-spec tube which means the stock is NOT a mil-spec stock. It if was then all of the features described would function on a mil-spec tube and again they do not. I cannot recommend this stock to anyone with a mil-spec tube.

This is an awesome product that helps reduce shoulder fatigue. The adjustable stock is very well built and is made of quality materials that will surely last. I will definitely be buying again in the future, I'm very pleased with my purchase from F.A.B Defense.
