Great Fit and Finish
I installed this barrel in an aero enhanced upper to build a lightweight hunting platform. The fitment to the receiver was nice and tight and straight/ square. I debated between this profile and the 18"riflelength heavy fluted model but am going I don't sacrifice much in accuracy. I the end the shorter length and half pound less weight (I shoot suppressed) won the day.
Reasonable price for amazing quality
I tried bear creek arsenal for my 6.5 Grendel and the barrel jammed every bullet and eventually lodged a bullet in the chamber without firing it. Decided to upgrade to a better barrel and since upgrading I have not had a single bullet jam and it is holding groups like my more expensive rifles. Would recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their rifle.

Fantastic Accuracy
Bought this a couple of years back, but hadn't got to shoot it until now when Ammo became available in my area.
Built into a Mega thermal-fit upper with an Aero BCG and gas system, KAK handguard, and a Burris 4.5-14x42 scope.
Took 3 rounds to zero .75" high at 50yd, 2 more to confirm zero at 200yd, then stretched to 300, 400, 500, and 600 using Hornady Black factory ammo. All hits were right on the money and a piece of cake. Was able to headshot a full-size ram steel at 400 with a single shot, Also hit a 5" square steel at 400yd on the first shot.
Definitely shooting sub-MOA right out of the box. So accurate, it's boring.

fantastic cheaper barrel
I hated saying that this barrel is cheaper but it is. It performs great out of the box and costs significantly less than competitors barrels with similar performance. Can't say enough about this barrel, but I must! Seriously get it especially if this is your cidery build and you're not planning on doing extremely long distance competitions with it.

i love Faxon
I needed a lightweight AR and my other 18" SS barrels are 1lb heavier. I was looking to build an AR10 but the cost and the weight is a bit much to be on the run. Grendel gives me superior ballistics from both my 5.56 and AR10 and that's not a game :).
