High quality barrel
Put 40 rds throw it very happy I now it will shoot better then I can I was getting 1.25 groups from a bipod very happy.plan on using it for deer season maybe pigs not sure. Just wish I would have went with the heavy fluted barrel this is more on the lines on a pencil barrel still happy

Head Space Issues

great barrel
I have bought faxon barrels in the past and for the money you can't beat them. The only down fall is to a new builder is that this barrel will need to be dimpled or drilled for gas block....it is also a great thing for avid builders as it is a blank slate for whatever your needs are. I have yet to pick up a scope and zero the rifle but the rifle functions flawlessly.

very impressed
I backed this barrel with an Oden Works BCG and POF flat bow trigger, all in basic Aero Precision receivers and topped it with a Primary Arms scope. the first 5 rounds down the barrel were PPU 120g @ 100y it was sub 1/2 MOA basically one hole slightly larger than a single bullet hole. the PPU 110g does open up to just under 1/2 MOA @ 100y. very impressed with the performance of these mid shelf parts with bottom shelf ammo. If I had to nit pic this barrel, it would be the packaging. it just comes in a plastic bag with a plastic cover over the ends. the one I got had a couple slight scuffs on the finish. OP does package it in a box for shipping however.

Great accuracy for the price
Installed this on a pawn shop gun because the old barrel would not group. This barrel will shoot 3/8 inch groups at 100 yards. Very happy with it for the price. The profile in the description is a little off as this is pretty much a government or pencil profile. The rifling was done right so to me that’s all I really care about. Would buy again.

faxon barrel
Great barrel, fits great on my new build!!! i haven't had a chance to take it to the range yet but fit and finish are very nice and Optics Planit was fast in shipping. I would recommend anyone to look closely at OP for their AR needs!!

Faxon Big Gunner
This appears to be a good quality barrel, the nitriding produces a nice finish, thought the machining was clean on the lugs and feed ramps so I anticipate good cycling. Reduced weight and profile balanced the rifle out nicely. Coating on barrel extension eased installation.

Fit and finish are excellent No machining marks on the unit Fluting looks awesome If it shoots anything like the 16in 300 BLK barrel I have in another build it will be a home run I will compare its accuracy against an Odin Work rifle I built for my brother

seems nice
Ordered this barrel in 6.5 Grendel. Fits very snug to the mega billet upper, no bedding needed. Fit and finish are great, no dirt or shavings in the bore upon arrival, bore and crown are bright and polished as they should be.No machining marks that I can find. All surrounding parts fit as they should. Unfortunately I haven't been able to shoot it yet.
