save your money or get a Wilson combat!
I finally put this barrel on and was highly disappointed. All of the long precision bullets slip right through the barrel extensions gaps and get stuck right below the chamber. some of the less accurate hunting rounds fire and then fail to extract. This is highly frustrating as Faxon will not answer...

Nice Barrel
Only put 20 rnds though it but was able to sight in easily. Lightweight which is exactly what I wanted for carrying around hunting. Faxon quality is always great. Highly recommend.

Midrange hunting rifle
Great barrel for the money, midrange antelope setup, great barrel profile to keep the weight down on this build, trying to stay under 9lbs complete with glass

Faxon makes very good barrels
I put about 100 rounds thru my barrel. 140 grn, 129 grn and 120 grn. After sighting in, I was shooting clover leafs. This is my 5th Faxon barrel. Optics Planet shipping is very slow. It took two weeks to get my barrel.

faxon barrels
Ive used faxon barrel ( 6 barrels total ) havent had a problen . I had bolt issues that wouldnt eject right . Toolcraft and one from right to bear brand. But the barrels shot great. One 223 wylde 18 inches and 4 350 legends 16 in and 20 inches and 6.5 grendel .and ive used there bolts to and had no issues. I used in all my builds the aero upper receivers except for two i used bravo upper receiver. And most my builds i use psa magpul complete lowers ,but i change out the triggers to rise armorment triggers.

18" big gunner profile barrel.
The finish and craftsmanship of the barrel are great. I have not attached it yet but after inspecting the bore and muzzle crown it appears to be a quality product and should live up to Faxons under an inch at 100 yard average.
