Serious quality control issues!
Visible damage to crown, visible damage to feedramp, and the locating pin on the reciever extension was improperly installed causing the barrel, chamber and gas port to be about ten degrees out of alignment once the barrel was installed into a quality upper receiver. Considering this barrel is supposed to be match grade i would expect the quality control on this barrel to be top notch, i am disapointed to say the least!

This thing wouldn't shoot for nothing? Sent it back and they sent me back a high pressure bolt which i already had? Put it back together and 1st group was good then went rt back to 2 to 3 inch groups??? They should have test fired it like he said hed do. Wont buy another!

This is a gift
Purchased this for my son, that said, I gave it a once over at it is every bit a Faxon barrel! Can’t wait to see the beast inaction. It’s still in wrapper, looks solid, feels solid but dab gum it. Don’t drop it on yer toe!

My order faxon barrel

Will not cycle
The had system on this barrel is too short. 6.5 creedmoor requires an extended rifle length system. My barrel would not extract bread because the chamber pressure was still too high. You can add a bunch of band aids to your buffer system and bcg to get it to work or just buy a barrel with an extended greased system. Other than the cycling issues this barrel was great. Fit and finish were awesome, accuracy exceeded my expectations shooting sub moa with cheap factory ammo. Head space was very tight when checked but it did pass go no go without modification to the barrel or bolt

Looks can be decieving.
barrel is not worth the money, these guys have alot of engineering errors and machining errors on the caliber barrel. I recommend ballistic advantage as they have worked out all the issues and you will be much happier with your purchase and the performance

Wow, nice, high quality product.
this is a very high quality barrel. Yes. I would recommend this barrel. As a matter of fact I'm going to order two more. I installed it to my Aero Precision upper and it fit perfect, looks very nice, and know I'm off to shoot. I read nothing but good reviews, on Faxon barrels so I'm very confident in the performance.
