Good quality barrel, faxon’s listed weight on their website is a little misleading though - Faxon Firearms 5.56 NATO, Govt/Socom Profile Rifle Barrels

barrel is well machines, nitride finish was okay. Was expecting a little better quality finish than what I received on my barrel but isn’t bad enough to actually complain about. According to faxon’s specs for this barrel listed on their sight it has this barrel as weighing at 1.65 lbs. The main reason why I purchased this barrel over a Ballistic advantage barrel with same profile and length was according to facon’s website theirs weighed about 2 oz. less than ballistic advantages barrel that would be comparable. After receiving mine and throwing it on postal scale I found out that faxon’s information listed on their site must be incorrect because mine came to weigh about 1.75lbs(or 28 oz.) same weight as ballistic advantages barrel that I purchased faxon’s over. Not a big deal though, good barrel for reasonable price just wish I knew what I was exactly getting before ordering it.
