Most Helpful Negative Review Had a rough start with gas port, but barrel weight and finish are nice.

You may have to open the gas port.

I got two of these running, and they seem fine, though I had to put the barrel on a drill press in 'V' blocks with a cleaning rod 'stop' to prevent accidentally going too far. I don't remember the final dimensions, but in my 'kit of everything' drill bits, I had to go up at least a couple steps to get the thing to cycle reliably with wolf ammo.

If you're not open to doing this kind of thing, while I like the barrel, I would suggest something else for 7.62x39.

I just got back from the rang with my new build. I used the Faxon 7.62x39 16" gunner barrel, Faxon 7.62x39 bcg, and Ultradyne muzzle brake. After I got it zeroed in I was shooting much better then moa, in many cases I was putting 2-3 bullets through the same hole. I love this build with all my ❤️!

Very very nice product thanks for shipping fast order come just one week after I’m order I’m order 2 off these not fire yet but I’m checking head space and m4 feed ramp for 7.62x39 is extremely nice I don’t need to do anything thanks again opticsplanet

Faxon never disappoints

Thanks to OP for the quick shipping, from purchase to my door was 4 days. Barrel is very impressive out of the box, snug fit into the upper, finishing and crown are all well done. Most other 10-11” 7.62 barrels run with a 1:9 -1:10 twist, interested to see how Faxon pulled the 1:8 off

great accuracy

Took this 16 inch barrel out to 300 yards at 12 inch Steel gong with ease and at a hundred yards got Just under 2 MOA constantly with 124 grain wolf not bad for the first time out with this Barrel very happy with the results
