8.6 Blackout Perfection
Faxon really hit a home run with the 16-inch Big Gunner in 8.6 Blackout. The mid-length gas system on this profile manages the massive energy of the 8.6 cartridge beautifully. It has just the right combination of rigidity and lighter weight—it doesn't feel like I'm lugging around a lead pipe, but it still delivers phenomenal accuracy downrange. Cycling both subsonics and supers has been flawlessly consistent right out of the box. This barrel is the heart of my new build, and the attention to detail and finish are exactly what I expect from Faxon. If you're building a serious 8.6, look no further.

Shoots an 8” group at 100 yards
I have used $2.50/rnd Gorilla Ammunition as well as custom loads. The muzzle device is not the issue. I have an adjustable gas block. The barrel shoots about an 8” group. I wouldn’t recommend it. Although I have heard Faxon made good things in the past. I have one of their BCGs and it has operated fine. But I have only sent about 100 rounds through it.

12" 8.6 blkout
Part of a build thats in process. Can not honestly review performance at this time. However faxon is a leader in barrel performance and a lot of other companies rely on their knowledge. I fully trust that this barrel will perform as it should. I trust the name. Fit and finish are top notch. No issues at all with the install.
