This was a easy on and great addition to my Smith Shield , I recommend it for anyone who wants to reduce the muzzle from affecting your next shot. Game Changer

I did not expect this to make as much of a difference than it did. This comp is great at keeping the muzzle down and allowing for easier control and faster follow up shots. Didn’t really enjoy shooting my shield until I put this compensator on.

Locking screws walk out

Works as a comp, but the set screws walk out leaving lock tite to do the work, red is a must making cleaning more annoying. Does mitigate recoil but use +p or hotter range ammo or it won't cycle properly. Even 124 blazer will give a few f2f per mag and last round hold open won't work in that situation either, don't bother with 115.

  • Looks good and works as a comp should

  • Bad set screws
Best Used for:
  • Hand loads

Fits great and shoots awesome. It handles some 115 grain bullets but it’s better to have 124.

Perfect fit.

This compensator fit perfectly on the Faxon threaded barrel. It has a great flash to it and it definitely reduces muzzle lift.
Pros:
  • Light weight, perfect fit on the Faxon barrel. Comes with everything to install.
Cons:
  • I haven't found any con's.
Best Used for:
  • My experience is with Faxon barrels. I believe in using same brand part with each other for best results.

I was worried this compensator would mess with the timing on my pistol. So far no problem.
Pros:
  • Drop in fit with no tooling needed.
Cons:
  • I found no con's at this time.
Best Used for:
  • Faxon firearms threaded barrels.
