Faxon Gunner profile barreel
This is in response to the guy who gave it one star because the barrel wouldn't fit into his BCM receiver. If he would have read the little piece of paper that ships with all BCM uppers he would know that the upper has to be heated in most cases for the barrel to go in. They use tighter tolerances so the gun is more accurate. I own several faxon barrels and BCM uppers. Great combination.

Great barrel, but pinned gas block needs work
I received my first 16 inch barrel only to discover that the muzzle had a large gouge taken out of it. QC issues happen, so I returned to OpticsPlanet and got a nice replacement. The head space was tight (just barely closed on a NATO go-gauge with my bolt), fit nicely in my upper, and has a really nice, light profile — about a quarter pound lighter than the “lightweight” Del-Ton barrel it replaced. My only gripe with it is that the pinned gas block isn’t worth it. The tension pin they provided still allowed slight rotational movement of the gas block, so I ended up dimpling the barrel and staking the gas block screws anyway. Next time I would forego the pinned block.

300BO pistol build
I bought this 10.5 inch faxon barrel for a pistol build.
This barrel is a great performer at 100 yards using 110 to 150gr bullets so far

Faxon gunner 10.5 300 blk
Very beautiful finish, attractive profile. It’s a very tight fit to the upper had to warm up the upper with a heat gun. Shoots sub moa with just about everything but the lighter 110gr vmax. Still under 2moa though.

- Tight fit. Kind of a good thing though if you know what you are doing
