Wanted option of threaded barrel for my M&P compact 4". With the great price and solid return process offered on Optics Planet I figured this was worth a shot. Barrel dropped right in and locked up like OEM. No fitting or smithing required.

Put 200 rounds through it with no issues whatsoever in one trip to the range to test function. Shot 115gr Blazer Brass and 124gr Federal American Eagle as well as 10 rounds 147gr Federal HST. All cycled and slide locked on empty. There was no drop in performance compared to OEM barrel. I have not live fired with any muzzle devices yet as I wanted to be confident of the barrel's performance before shooting with anything hanging off the end of it. That said, the treads are good and devices go on as you'd expect and I am confident they will work as intended with this barrel.

Considering the factory-like fitment, quality material, and performance; I would say this barrel is an outstanding value.

Did not function as a drop in. Chamber was too long. This would have required gunsmith work to make barrel fit in my 2.0. Returned. Optics Planet handled their end perfectly-delivered quicker than I expected. However, Faxon's claim that this is drop in was not correct.

Optics Planet did a great job getting order handle and delivered in a timely fashion-per usual. However this "drop min" barrel would not fit in my S&W 2.0 9c. Lapping compound would not have worked as the chamber was well out of size.

Faxon Firearms quality asurrance needs much improvement. The barrel would not drop in to either of my S&W 2.0 9mm compacts. I just received a file from Apex so I can try to fit the barrel. I am delayed 2 weeks until the stitches are removed from my right hand after cancer was removed. The compensator I received does screw on to the end of the barrel.

Some negative reviews but not a lot of options for 4” compact so purchased and am quite happy, only about 200 round through it mixed FMJ and JHP and no issues would recommend

Man this was a battle finding the correct threaded barrel for the M&P 2.0 compact. Craftsmanship and fit/operation is flawless! I definitely recommend! It took my two tries as I first ordered the Trybe and it was not made for this piece. Key lesson is trying the fit and functionality before 30 days to ensure you get refunded for a return with OP policy. This looks like it was OEM and very pleasing!

I just received this in the mail excited to install this on to mh Carry piece alongside the strike industries micro quad comp. The barrel will not fit in without a bit of force and i cannot even put the slide on my gun due the barrel sitting in soo tight. Im afraid that this will require work from a gun smith to fit this properly .
