I tried to make it work.
I couldn't get this ammo to work in my 22LR pistol. I have put 6000 to 7000 rounds through my firearm. With little to no problem. I've spent the last 4 trips to the range and no success. Spent shells wouldn't eject. Put in other ammo. It shoots perfectly.
Great 22 LR Ammo:
I have always enjoyed shooting Federal 22 ammunition. I have found it to be cleaner shooting. With this deal from Optics Planet, I have Federal 36 grain copper plated hollow point bullet! Perfect!
Pros:
- Cleaner shooting than most.
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Shooting enjoyment and headshots on squirrels!

DO NOT BUY !
Most unreliable ammo I have ever used , some rounds are so weak I have to check my barrel to make sure the bullet made it out.

Quality rounds
Dependable quality product you would expect from Federal Ammunition.

No surprises! 5 stars!
Arrived quickly, intact. As described. I've used this ammo before, it fires pretty clean, and I probably had one FTF out of around 500 rounds. What's not to like?
Pros:
- Price, dependability, clean
Cons:
- Pew pew noise isn't scary ;)
Best Used for:
- Range
Would recommend: Yes
Good stuff, no misfires.
Just shot 250 rounds through my Tippman Bugout pistol. Did not have one failure of any kind. Cannot say that for CCI mini mags. Good ammo and a great price.

Great deal
This was a really good deal, however the bucket it comes in got broken during shipping so there was loose ammo rolling around in the box
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- Shipped thru USPS
Would recommend: Yes
Great deal, great product!
Not much to add to the title. Loads up clean, doesn't jam, goes bang. Or -pew-
Pros:
- WORKS!
Cons:
- Hole it makes is hard to see downrange
- Hole it makes is hard to see downrange:)
Best Used for:
- Hole punch

Good price, doesn't ship well
Obviously I'm not gonna count to make sure they're all here because the box broke open and I had to put them all back in the bucket. Looked like the plastic lid broke and hopefully none fell out between the seems of the cardboard. Other than that, great deal, great shipping price, would buy again.

Federal ii a trusted brand....
Federal ii a trusted brand....8n ammo
But this particular box/bucket of 22 lr copper plated hoolow point is inconsistent and poorly q.c.'d.
Horrible experiences across the board. Tube fed rifles(Marlin's), magazine fed(Glock and AR), and finally even out of an old revolver. Just inconsistent in feeding and trajectory. Nothing the shot this ammo was consistent in hitting the target. It was all pver the ppace. Multiple people and multiple firearms, all the same results. From 10 yards out to even an easy 100 with a 20 inch barrel. 8 feel ripped off with this ammo bucket, such a waster pf money for a bame brand ammo like Federal. About 2 out of 10 would stray or jam the forearm. Jams were due to the head of the hollow point being so flat. The revolver had some (1 of 50) hammer strikes that didn't go off and at 10 yards would stray left or right and sometimes too high or too low. This is a bad experience for my first bucket purchase. This ammo gets a zero, 0, zilch, nada, nothing out of nothing rating. This is my honest opinion and review based on myself and my friends experiences using this particular ammo. All other Federal ammo, from shotguns shells, to 9mm, 5.56, 7.62x39, 300AAC, and 308 are a much better quality BOX ammo than a bucket.

federal never disappoints.
I've shot thousands of these, and i can count on one hand how many failure to fire malfunctions ive had. These seem to run good in every 22 ive put them in. Can use them for the range or varmit hunting. Buy these on sale or with a coupon code and you wont be disappointed!
