Syntech Defense Ammo
Great ammo at a good price, Syntech technology with hollow point makes a great bullet at a good cost. With its 3 types of separation and its ballistic testing performance makes this a great bullet for protection. Syntech reduces friction and therefore runs with less heat, and I like the new materials and how it reacts on contact. Definitely recommend to try.
great ammo
Got these for $.50 a round last year and I’m glad I did because now I see they’re $1 each! Cycle good in all my M&p handguns.

Syntech ammo
Was packed well & shipped in timely matter. Some of the best defensive ammo, 3 pedals break off on impact, makes 3 extra wound channels that penetrate 6", the rest of bullet core, penetrates 12" to 18 ". Equals dead bad guy.
Pros:
- Partially fragments, four different wound channels.
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Self defense
Would recommend: Yes

Cons:

Good defensive round with added benefits
I tested this round into ballistic jelly and leather at 50 ft. Great penetration (core 15.9 in) with good wound track from 3 fragments. Great plus is no bullet to barrel metal exchange and no lead primer. This is a great advancement in bullet technology.
Best Used for:
- Self defense

Federal Syntec Defense
These are literally half the cost of Liberty Civil Defense. Multiple wound tracks with better penetration, we have a winner!!!
Pros:
- Cost vs quality
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- CQB to minimize overpenetration
Would recommend: Yes

Finally A Company Did It Right!
Ok I was skeptical at first because ive never been a fan of a round that loses weight because normally that means loss of penetration. However Federal is the first that im aware of to make the projectile weigh more than what you normally see on the market. The fact that this round weighs 138 grains and not 115 grains or less i believe is what makes this round stand out from the others. The 1 con i have found is this stuff WILL NOT work reliably in a short barrel pistol. I tried it in my Canik TP9SF Elite (4.2in barrel) and it worked likenit was supposed to. Then i tried it in my Springfield Armory XD Mod 2 Subcompact (3in barrel) and it became a FMJ basically. So speed is definitely a factor and it being heavier you need more speed than the others of the same type on the market. A YouTube reviewerbis who got me to give it a go because he claimed he was dropping full sized Feral Hogs with 1 shot and i believe him. This stuff will make a threat have an awful day. Not only is there a 100+ grain base of the bullet deep in the target but there is also going to be 3-4 decent sized fragments or petals in the target aswell. I fully believe if you are skeptical about thiw ammo if you gave it a try you would be a believer like me. I havent tested it through any kind of barrier except some clothing so im not sure how it would hold up against something like a windshield or wall or something of that nature but it does say Syntech Defense not Syntech Offense and in my book if I'm shooting ...

They're great self protection
They are good bullets but out of the 20 that I got only 19 are good because one has a light hammer stripe and got put into my Box and sold to me with 19 good bullets and 1 dud now it could have been an accident But I hate all the middleman I'll keep planned at once to know it took longer than ever to get these Bullets and also to open the 1st Box And see the 1st bullet with the light primer strike so went to my brother and my dad and I'm the bullet said what does it look light that's 3 men born and raised with guns all looked at it set a light primer said no brand new out the Box they said no that thing's been attempted to be shot So how do I suppose to use that as self defense just put it in and hope it shoots for me but it wouldn't shoot for you

Good self defense round
This seems like a great self defense round. Haven’t shot it but like the videos I’ve seen. Bullet separates into three pieces on impact and spread out causing more internal damage. Hopefully I don’t have to use, but should be effective
