Super Bright and Compact
Before this, I didn't know there were any tactical style lights that offered both IR and LED besides surefire vampires and a random assortment of questionable IR filters. This light is definitely much brighter than its competition, has an easy to source and convenient batter, and is feels super solid.

Great light
I bought 3 lights to augment my simple 1st gen nv. One light never shipped, one was a dedicated ir long distance light and the third was the fenix. I cancelled the order for the back ordered light, returned the long distance ir light and kept the fenix. It is a great light. Bright white when you need it and good ir flood for mediocre nv. Ut does exactly what i wanted and was the cheapest. I am buying another.

Amazing Light
I bought it just for the IR illuminator. I really did not want the combination of flashlight and IR because usually something designed to do multiple things, doesn't do each as well as a dedicated single function tool. Well that is not the case here. I was blown away by the performance of the IR and also the intensity and overall spill of the flashlight. the design ... the way they accomplish this is very unique and I am impressed. I thought that the 1000 lumen claim was exaggerated, but it definitively out shined the 900 Lumes lights I own. I will likely buy more Fenix lights!
