Really hard to open!
The good, it locks open really well with very minimum play. Closing it is fairly easy. The issue is it's REALLY hard to open. You have to lift straight up at the hinge to open, the angle is very difficult, and the spring is extremely stiff (this may lighten up over time). You defiantly will not be able to deploy it fast in an emergency situation. I have to turn the barrel towards me to get the correct pressure to disengage. This is not my first folding adaptor, but it is by far the hardest to use. For reference, Im a decent size guy 5'11 235 and above average in strength and I have trouble with it.

Only Works With FM Uppers
This looks like a solid piece of kit. Ordered it for my BRN 180 Upper. The first strike against this is it comes with no installation instructions. I had to peruse FM’s Website and YouTube to find them. When I figured that out I realized this was not going to work with the BRN 180 upper. It sticks too far out of the lower to mate with the BRN 180 upper. I emailed FM Products (they don’t list a phone number) about this and they confirmed it is only compatible with their uppers. Would it kill them to mention that in their product description? It would have saved me the headache of figuring this out for myself and having to return it.
