The item would have been fine however the sales person did not fully identify what I was ordering. A prompt returned goods slip was E Mailed and all was taken care of responsibly. This is a stand up company that takes care of business. I will use them again when I need their products.

I ordered the holster for my mp40 with a streamlight TLR 1 attached. The holster held my pistol and light snugly and I was able to draw quickly after getting use to the correct method required of this Fobus model. I did not notice any marring of the pistol. Ordering experience from planet optics was excellent.

I bought this to fit my full size S&W M&P 40 equipped with a crimson trace laserguard. The fit is pretty snug but it works okay for my purposes. The quality of the holster is excellent and it is adjustable.

Works better then I thought. WILL NOT WORK if you have a threaded barrel. Wish they made one for the FN-57. Recommend to all who use flashlight, laser or both.

The Fobus Roto-Tactical holster is a unique holster because it can incorporate any light or laser that is rail mounted. The Roto-Tactical holster fits a variety of firearms. If you have different guns, you can use the same holster for it. The one I purchased fits the S&W M&P9, M&P40, and also the full size M&P45. I found this holster to be a great value. It takes a little getting used to but requires much less training than other holster systems out there. My only concern with the holster is retention from backward grabs. I think the leather button strap will suffice as a secure way to carry a weapon however. For concealed carry the retention concerns I have are small. As a police officer you would most likely want a holster with higher security than this. How is the comfort? Compared to Blackhawk Serpa holsters, the paddle configuration is much more comfortable and it takes up less space on the belt. With a Serpa holster, the paddle goes from 1 or 2 o'clock all the way to 5. For people who carry a lot on their belts, that isn't practical. The Fobus paddle can be worn comfortably anywhere on your belt besides at the 12 o'clock position. The holster is very durable and completely maintenance free. I can draw my handgun as fast or faster than I can with a Blackhawk! Serpa Level II holster. I recommend this holster as a well made, affordable holster.

It is natural movement to remove your pistol - just what you want. Putting it back in the holster is less natural but with practice it will be easier.
Pros: It works easily when removing your weapon
Cons: Takes getting use to when returning your weapon to the holster

On their web site I tried to find a holster to fit my Baby Eagle with a Viridian GEN2X5L laser/tactical light. None were listed. Since CZ pistols are a close enough match I searched for a holster for a CZ and found GLT17RP listed as a match (on Planet it list for a Glock and Ruger and not Cz, same number if you look on Fobus web site). I took a chance it may work out. Not perfect but, it works well enough and will fit my need.

My fit with full size M&P was snug, I would say fobus did a good job in getting that right, at least on the M&P.Draw, and reholstering takes a little practice,but no big problem...Not a real good for conceal carry, but loose fitted jacket should suffice the cover up....My M&P with light is my bedside buddy at night.....But who knows when it might accompany me on a late evening stroll....
Pros: Purchased for S&W M&P 40 for use when tactical light will be attached to gun.
Cons: Isn't leather......miss that leather smell

I purchased this holster for my SIG226R with a Viridian C5L. My gun fits in the holster snugly, however the thumb break does not fit over the trigger guard. Despite Fobus.com saying this holster will work with specific guns call or e-mail to verify before spending money!
Pros: Can use with light/lasers
Cons: Thumb break doesn't fit
