I'm not some new guy that just purchased his first pistol. Thirty years and counting of pulling triggers and over half of which have been in a professional setting. This is a garbage product that I can't even give half a star to. I am shocked that Optics Planet even carries this product in their line up. I picked up two of these to serve as off duty holsters for the on/off convenience of the paddle. One was for a Glock 17, the other for the Glock 26.

For starters, it isn't exactly concealable by today's standards. You can literally make a better holster in your garage with two pieces of kydex and ten minutes of youtube instruction. I just did it. This holster locks the pistol in and it never releases the pistol. It doesn't matter how hard and fast you "pull", "tug" or "snap" the draw stroke. As a firearms instructor I would kick somebody off the range if they arrived with this product. It is a safety hazard because you would have to contort yourself into a 20 degree pretzel to actually get the pistol out of the holster, maybe... I haven't seen garbage like this since the Blackhawk line of trigger finger push button holsters. Do not buy this thing. You'll only have to return it, or send it to the bin of junk gear that we all have collected over the years.

FOR A FAST, RELIABLE COMBAT HOLSTER, IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN FOBUS.
THEY WEIGH IN AT A WHOPPING 2 OUNCES. JUST TRY TO FIND A LIGHTER HOLSTER.
I HAVE MANY FOBI; PROBABLY FOR 7 DIFFERENT HANDGUNS, AND IT IS MY DAILY CARRY.
IT IS SECURE ENOUGH THAT I HAVE NEVER LOST A WEAPON FROM IT, DURING ANY ACTIVITY.
I TRUST IT ENOUGH TO WEAR IT ON FISHING TRIPS, LEANING OVER THE EDGE OF THE BOAT.
IF YOU PRACTICE, DRAW AND FIRE TIMES CAN BE LESS THAN HALF A SECOND.
UNCLE MIKE'S ARE A LITTLE FASTER BECAUSE THEY HAVE A SMOOTHER MATERIAL.
HOWEVER, UNCLE MIKE'S ARE NOISY, LESS CONCEALABLE, AND MUCH LESS COMFORTABLE.
I'VE CARRIED FOBUS FOR OVER 15 YEARS, AND ALWAYS WILL.
DON'T LET THE PRICE FOOL YOU; IF YOU NEED LIGHTWEIGHT, FAST SECURITY FOR ALL DAY CARRY, FOBUS IS THE ONE.

Not usable in a Law Enforcement setting. Gun stays put once it clicks in. Tried using a hair dryer to loosen the retention. No luck. No retention screws. In a high stress situation, this holster is unreliable.

I like the feel, price and security of this holster, but it takes too much force and two hands to remove the gun from the holster. Is there a lubricant you recommend to make this

I have tried other paddle holsters, the Fobus holster is far superior. I like the passive retention and the positive click when the pistol is re-holstered. It conceals the weapon well and is easy to use. Perfect for plainclothes work if you like to wear your pistol outside your pants. I highly recommend this holster.
Pros: Good Product

This holster is one of the most comfortable paddle type holsters I have used thus far. The holster is as simple as they come and exhibits typical Fobus quality. Great value for the money.
Pros: light weight, good retention, does not rattle
Cons: prints slightly more than I would prefer for concealment

Ok this holster is great, if you dont enjoy it, you will love the 100% Fobus no hassle return policy and or exchange warranty.

Holster is great for retention and concealed carry, barely noticeable with just a t-shirt.

Some say you do not need a belt with this which is true if you dont plan to draw your weapon, but you need a belt to draw it out as the retention is quite tight and the belt allows a smooth quick draw.

I keep the paddle inside my pants and my draw is smooth and uninhibited.
